Hello! I’m here to introduce myself to the group.
I’m a composer that posts compositions and arrangements I’ve written to my YouTube channel: Mister Malleable’s Music Museum. I learned a lot about theory and how it works through my organist dad. I love how intricate and logically the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Music history is a fascination of mine, too! Especially after taking music lit in college years ago, which inspired my compositional style after it taught me about programmatic music of The Romantic Era. Since then I compose whatever I do to express myself creatively and polyphonically.
A lot of my compositions like my Requiems, hymns, symphonies and suites are reflections of myself and things I’ve experienced after dealing with a traumatic brain injury when I was in high school. They’ve been incredibly therapeutic. My next video is a little edit of a chorus I dictated from Blazing Saddles (which my dad helped me out with by guiding me to what the middle voices were). I’m happy to be here to discuss music, theory and creativity, and original compositions!
