I found a fast, simple and easy way to make compost in a jar or something similar in less than a week

1•keep used teabags
2•dry out the teabags in the sun or any way you want
3•collect cardboard and blend it with water in a blender
4• dry the cardboard completely then break it up into small pieces

5•then combine both ingredients together inside the jar or container

6•then enjoy

Great compost system...for breeding invasive Asian jumping worms. Oops. Also: compost potatoes and Jerusalem artichokes!

I was so proud of my contiguous compost windrow system as a great way to keep worms alive over winter. I was right, it *was* a great system, but since Asian jumping worms can breed without a partner and spread endlessly, and since I collect carbon from many different sources, I guess it was inevitable I'd have this problem.

In this video I discuss how I'm dealing with it and end with a positive note on some "compost crops" I'm cultivating as well as some of my tree crops as a bonus. I'd love some advice on how to adjust my system to control these invasive pests.

Almost ready...maybe another month

Almost ready. We got a sunny day and I took it out to mix it some more and add more food waste, old plant soils, grass clippings, shredded package box.
