I've been playing Conan Exiles basically since almost the beginning (4.6k hours on Steam) but I only have experience in official vanilla PVE servers. I have been tentatively interested in getting into maybe some modded RP servers. I'd be new at RP and I'm also a bit shy/socially anxious so I'd be looking for a community that isn't super serious hard/core about RP at first and used to someone trying to get into it. PVP is okay as long as me and my things are mostly safe except for certain RP reasons. No unexpected raiding or anything (I stuck with PVE servers for a reason). I've looked around at a few modded servers here and there in my curiosity. I really liked the Pippi and ToT mods so far along with all the character creation, build and decor extras that some of them had. If anyone has an RP server that's kind of like this and are looking for more players and are okay with someone totally new to RP, let me know and I'll check it out ❤️

We are a very new server, as such our population is rather low right now but stick with us and help build something beautiful! Weight of Chains is a roleplay-first Conan Exiles server built around immersive characters, meaningful conflict, political ambition, and the brutal spirit of the Hyborian Age. PvP is always enabled, but violence is governed by roleplay. There is no kill-on-sight, conflict begins with character and continues through consequences.

We cater to both EU and US timezones!

ROLEPLAY FIRST

Ambitions, loyalties, flaws, faiths, and rivalries should shape your character’s choices. Characters may lie, manipulate, betray, misunderstand, and seek revenge. Keep conflict in character and treat one another with respect out of character.

ROLEPLAY-GATED PVP

PvP requires prior roleplay and clearly declared intent. Confrontations should allow room for threats, negotiation, surrender, escape, or escalation before steel is drawn. Combat exists to create stories, not replace them.

SEASONAL STORIES

Seasonal storylines are guided by roleplaying administrators but shaped by player decisions. Alliances, victories, failures, and betrayals can alter the wider story.

THE WARDENS

The oldest records speak of Giant-Kings, Lemurians, bracelets, and the sorcery of Thoth-Amon. Yet they say little of those who still watch the condemned.

• The Scarlet Gallery - spectacle, rivalry, blood, and manufactured tragedy.
• The Iron Ledger - observation, judgement, control, and an archive that forgets nothing.
• The Veiled Lantern - hidden warnings, secret refuges, and carefully chosen agents.

Each Warden seeks influence. None can be entirely trusted. Bodies, abandoned caravans, and hidden caches have begun appearing across the land, containing blackened, rune-etched shards. The Wardens are offering rewards for their recovery.

LAND, POLITICS, AND POWER

Claim territory through an interactive map and bidding system managed by our custom Discord bot. Land ownership encourages settlement, trade, diplomacy, rivalry, and conflict. Build towns, keeps, temples, estates, trading posts, or criminal dens worth visiting and defending.

ROLEPLAY ECONOMY

Earn special currency through player-led and admin-run events, then spend it on land claims, rare goods, and rewards.

THIEVERY WITH CONSEQUENCES

Our custom theft system gives criminals meaningful opportunities while allowing victims to investigate and respond. Thieves leave calling cards behind, creating evidence that can lead to suspicion, pursuit, blackmail, punishment, or revenge. Lock your doors. Secure your valuables. Stop putting benches beside open windows.

COURIERS AND WRITING

Ravencrest supports letters, parcels, books, journals, scrolls, mailboxes, and courier creatures. Create courier networks, exchange contracts, conduct diplomacy, spread rumours, or send suspiciously affectionate correspondence across the lands.

- PC, UE-5 Enhanced Edition

- Unmodded only. I don't want to have to deal with mods, I've spent enough time messing with the load order and googling error messages so I can wear some bad looking elf ears and armor.

- I prefer closer to Vanilla settings. I want to play this survival game for what it is, not hit level 60 and build a castle within my first day

- I'm looking for something more light or incidental RP, I'm not interested in writing up some huge backstory and then getting scolded because my character canonically prefers axes but I used a sword and thus I went against my character's backstory (this one is based on a true story but in their defense I was Zathar the Axe-Lord)

- I'd prefer something smaller and more relaxed, even a little password protected community, rather than something way overbuilt and sweaty. I want less people who are more interested in RP, vice a bunch of people who just named themselves Gandalf because it's all they could think of and never actually RP.

- PVE is preferred. It's cool if there's an arena or something for sanctioned PVP fights, but I'd rather not get raided by the alpha clan led by the server owner's alt (this one is also based on a true story and I have no defense for them)

- This one's implied but I'd prefer if the server staff wasn't a bunch of power tripping needle-dick shitheads (this one is based on many true stories)
