Licensed GC Looking for work.

Licensed GC looking for work. Experience as Plumbing and HVAC foreman. Framing and Trim carpentry experience. Experience in heavy equipment and digging. Can't finish drywall or new masonry to save my soul.

Willing to train. Can pull together/lead crews if needed.

Had partnered with a friend to start up Plumbing, but $20k in tools and material were stolen. Recovered 2.8k. Lost the work in pipe due to not being able to perform.

Really just trying to avoid Chapter 7 at this point.

New to the area

Hello. My fiancé and I just bought a house and we are in the process of moving to the area. We wanted to know what the must dos for the area are. Does anyone have any good recommendations of things to do or places to eat out?

Stars & Strikes on 29 is a health hazard [CONTINUED]

This is a follow-up to a post I made here on July 3rd, with pictures, stating that this bowling alley/arcade/restaurant was infested with mice and more. About 26 days after I made that post, I got fired. They found the post, and my Reddit had my name attached, so they fired me for "defaming the company," which sucks, but I knew that was possible when I made the post. Just wanted to make a follow-up to say: the health department came and deemed the place safe, which it is NOT. The mice are still INFESTING the building. Customers are even seeing them now. You can see it in their Google Reviews. The first photo is baby mice in the children's plush prize cardboard boxes. Second is them months ago in the lost & found drawer. Rats in kitchen too! Absolutely disgusting. I don't know how this place got away with it, but the health department did NOT look hard enough. Do NOT eat here, and if you care enough, please call the Cabarrus Health Alliance and make a complaint!

7oh

Does anyone know of any shops around here that are still selling 7oh? I don’t have enough to finish my taper and everywhere I go to has taken them off the shelves

Pediatrician for newborn

Hi, I am looking for a pediatrician in the Concord/ Kannapolis area that doesn't require the covid vaccine. We were with Atrium but they are now requiring you accept all vaccines they offer. I am fine with all the regular ones but don't want Covid or Flu vaccines at this young age.

Anyone whose children attend the Cabarrus Virtual Academy?

Looking to possibly start attending the virtual school Cabarrus offers.... anyone whose children go here? Do you like it, hate it? What is the schedule like? I read it's seven hours a day. That feels like a long time for elementary kids.

Looking for concrete job

Recently moved with my family from Michigan to Concord NC... I was wondering how things work out here, I used to work in a group of 4 or 5 concrete finishers guys and and that's my experience but I been looking for groups like that and so far haven't got no luck... any advice? or somewhere related with concrete that I can go and apply.

Dash in

Filled up my tank on August 5th and it was around $46 and some change. On my credit card statement it is showing as $200. I saw it pending a few days ago and figured it was a hold of some kind and would adjust. Today I check and it cleared $200 no adjustment. What the hell is that? I know I need to call my card about this but has anyone else experienced this?
