Looking for a Montgomery County Attorney for a State Jail Felony - Possession of Controlled Substance

Hi, I am looking for an experienced criminal defense attorney in Montgomery County. I was charged with possession (less than 1g) of a controlled substance and want to get this off my record. I would appreciate any recommendations or insight!

Top 3 I am looking at right now are:
- Jeremy Dishongh
- Doug Atkinson
- Dunham & Jones

Thanks :)

Why are communities in Conroe's ETJ (such as Woodforest and Two Step Farms) relatively much more affordable than The Woodlands?

My employment will be moving to The Woodlands area, so we are looking at houses in Montgomery County.

Most of the houses in the Woodlands are very old, yet the prices are insane. You will see 31 year old homes in the 3000s sqft range for $1.2M that sell a couple of days after they go on the market.

Example - https://www.har.com/homedetail/2-day-lily-pl-spring-tx-77381/7679548

Then you go up to Woodforest or Two Step Farms, and you will see brand new homes with modern floor plans that are much cheaper. Like half the price. Also Woodforest's tax rate is not even that much higher than The Woodlands now because as communities get more developed, property tax rate goes down (Certain parts of Woodforest are in the very low 2 percents for property tax rates). The same will happen with Two Step as it develops.

Much of Woodforest and all of Two Step Farms are zoned to Montgomery ISD. The schools are ranked well. Obviously they don't have the hype and prestige of The Woodlands High School, but that is not important.

I know the Woodlands has much closer proximity to great shopping and dining, but you can always get to Market Street from the Conroe ETJ communities, and do your grocery shopping at the insane amount of commercial, retail, fast casual dining on 1488 (1488 between 149 and 242 has 3 HEBs, a Target, and even a Salata).

Is proximity to The Woodlands Town Center, Hughes Landing, Waterway, and The Woodlands Mall really worth this insane premium for a much older house?

I appreciate your time in helping me understand this dynamic on the insane price difference. Am I missing something?

Edit: grammar

Vet Recommendations

Hey guys,

I’m posting here for advice on finding an affordable/good vet with the capability to perform surgeries in the Conroe area. My girlfriend’s dog was
diagnosed today with bladder stones through Petco’s “Vetco” vet. At first they thought it was a UTI, but upon a follow up visit, they performed an xray and confirmed it as bladder stones which needed surgery to be removed. At the end of the day, the care is needed. However, both vet visits totaled over $1000 and online says the surgery can be anywhere from 1500-4000. She just moved into an apartment and even with the care she received (missing bladder stones which require invasive surgery) I can’t help but feel this has all totaled up to more than it maybe “needed” to. Does anyone have any recommendations for a vet which might be less predatory in pricing for visits and the surgery or is this just how it has to go?

Thanks in advance

Shipley Donuts 13774 Jordan Lewis Way Magnolia

This place charged me twice for $27.40, I’ve called and left messages multiple times as well as contacting the corporate office and making a report twice. Its been over a week now and nothing has been done…. Not a single returned phone call or a penny refunded . Absolute thieves at this Shipley Donuts and the franchise itself appears to be run by crooks.

Mugshot Removal from Montgomery County Police Report

I have my mugshot posted on Montgomery County Police Report and have been trying to reach out to the website to take down my mugshot. My case was no billed and than a few months later I was able to get my case expunged. I have tried to reach out through their website and have gotten no response. I have also tried to call there number on there website but that's not a valid number anymore. The address stated on their website is also not up to date according to USPS. I got an attorney to try to reach out to them but my attorney has said that he also has gotten no response. What can I do?

Restaurant recommendation

Howdy. I do not know Conroe well and am looking for some recommendations. I would like to find a quiet and good quality restaurant to have a cozy meal with someone. What can you recommend? I prefer something that is not terribly expensive.

$25 Oil Changes to try not to be homeless!

Howdy y'all it's me again! The moving situation isnt looking so great but I'm trying to keep my head up faith strong! Me, my mom, and 2 younger siblings need to move out and Into somewhere else on/by May 31st and we don't have enough money still.

I'm doing $25 oil changes, with multi vehicle deals, at your home or place of work as long as it's in Conroe or right outside of Conroe (gas is high and I still have to make a little profit y'all).

**( $25 with customer provided oil and filter, or $25 plus cost of oil and filter if I need to buy it)

I also offer cheap pricing on other work just ask me if I can do it and I will let you know with honesty! Sparkplugs, coils, belts, starters, alternators, coolant leaks, etc. Again just ask me! (I won't touch brakes, suspension, or go into motors)

Looking for young adult groups in Conroe

Hey! I was wondering if there are any young adult groups around the Conroe area that meet somewhat regularly. I don’t really have many friends and would love to meet more people.

I’m 25F and work Monday–Friday, so I’m mostly looking for something on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons. I’m into anime, reading (mostly fantasy and sci‑fi), and playing card games, board games, and video games.

I’m not really into bars or drinking—more interested in hobby‑based or chill hangouts.

Are there any groups, clubs, or meetups like that around here?

Japanese Curry over white rice

Any places nearby that might have this?
I’m sick and that’s all I want to eat. I don’t want katsu chicken. I don’t want curry ramen. I just want a bowl of delicious Japanese curry with beef, carrot, potato and onion over rice. Simple and comforting.

Looking for auto racing in the area

They seem hard to find these days and because we’re new to the area not familiar with local venues. Open to circle track racing, tractor/truck pulls, drag races, demolition derby, lawnmower races. You get the idea. TIA.
