We hid a support column next to a integrated fridge in a 1920s Coral Gables, Florida kitchen

This historic Coral Gables home had a structural column beside the refrigerator. Instead of using two large fillers, we worked with Sub-Zero to extend the paneled freezer door beyond the appliance and conceal the column.

The column is completely hidden when the freezer is closed and only visible when the door is open.

What do you think of this kitchen? Would you have handled the column differently?
