I started Cozy Grove thinking I’d just play for a little while, but I really like the slow pace of the game. There’s something nice about coming back each day, checking what’s changed, helping the bears, and slowly bringing the island back to life.
I also love collecting all the little items and decorating. It’s such a simple thing, but somehow I can spend way too much time deciding where everything should go. 😂
I started playing Started Valley and now I understand everything. I like how I can play at my own pace, how I can fish, be in the mines, or be a farmer; that relaxes me a lot. There's something very satisfying about finishing everything little by little. It's definitely the kind of game that I start playing and I don't realize when the day has passed, completely immersed in it.
I have Cozy Grove Camp Spirit on my Nintendo Switch and it crashes quite frequently? Is anyone else having this problem? I also noticed quite a few glitches so I don't know if that might have something to do with it.
I started playing Cozy Grove recently and I’m really enjoying how relaxing the game feels.
I love that there isn’t much pressure to rush through everything. I can just log in, do a few things, decorate a little, talk to the bears, and come back the next day.
But I’m sure there are probably a lot of things I’m doing completely wrong without realizing it 😂
So for those of you who have been playing for a while:
What’s one thing you wish someone had told you when you first started Cozy Grove?
It can be a beginner tip, something you wish you had saved instead of sold, a mistake you made, or just something that made the game much easier for you.
I’d love to hear your tips! 🐻
Hello scout friends! Just wondering how you handle your friend list and gift giving? I added a bunch of you when Camp Spirit first came out and have been gifted abundantly daily, but I haven't figured out the best way to give gifts that seems fair. Are we just sending back a gift when someone sends one to you? Are you paying attention to their stickers for gift preferences?
does anyone wanna be friends on camp spirit? and what do we do exactly as friends? i cant find my code or add anyone by their code bc im on netflix version maybe? so it requires a nickname, mine is: SlayerBaby893 ❤️
Currently addicted to Camp Spirit. It’s so good. I played the first one when it came out and loved it too, but I used to just place animals, plants and objects randomly. I’m trying to be more organized and efficient this time lol.
When a deer hates other deer, do you place that deer far away from the others? Or do you just make them deal with it? Curious what others do, as I’m trying to organize my animals right now :)
I am SO stumped on where to put the horned skull for this one! What shape is it trying to make??
I actively dislike all the interna places in Camp Spirit. I have encountered five so far (the Arbor counts as two, and Orsina has two). It totally defeats the spirit of walking up to the bears and just chatting or giving them a hug as you go by. You need to make a definite effort to go see them, and so far, the "inside bears" haven't really been compelling enough to bother with unless they need something.
Am I the only one who thinks that? Unlike the last game, when I loved most of the bears, the only bears I look forward to talking to are Astrid, the knitted bear, and the Crayon Head bear near the cooking machine.
Hi everyone! Just downloaded the game and I love it so far, it’s adorable. Just wanted to make sure I’m not missing anything I should be doing? Literally at day 6 I think so I’m fresh off the boat here. Any advice would be appreciated 🥰
For some reason I keep getting the legendary seashell small accessory recipe multiple times a day for a few days now. I’ve learnt it every time I get it so I don’t know why I keep getting it, has anyone else had this? Is it just something that happens?
Idk if i should be impressed or insulted by my day count. I just play like 20 min a day so it isn't too bad, it's just because I've been playing for years
Hey there Spry Foxes,
Just a note to say: This game got me through some rough times in Lockdown. It gave me a reason to get up and do things every day, to meet my cool online bear-friends, and then maybe take myself out for a self-care walk. Alone, because it was during a time when being with friends wasn't always possible.
I was playing on AppleTV back then, when we hit the memory limitations, so I had to switch to desktop on MacOS (which ported over easily enough because of Apple Arcade), and on desktop, my controller didn't work. And then, of course, the app was pulled off of Apple Arcade, without a clean way to just...pay outright for the game and keep my data. I'm sure there were contractual reasons that wasn't possible, but honestly. I would have been happy to just say "here, take my money!"
It's not the first time I've lost access to a game I love because of weird platform issues (I can't play Portal on a modern Mac, because...what...Valve can't recompile a game they wrote and have the source code for? Grumble, grumble.)... but in the case of Cozy Grove, I resolved to finish what I started -- appropriate for a game about helping resolve unfinished business.
So I finished my quests, and left my island to sink into the fog again, let my ghosts become ghosts once more, feeling better for having the story. I'm glad I got the closure, since porting my island elsewhere wasn't really an option (and since Apple Arcade wouldn't really allow sign-in to other platforms like the Switch).
I've seen other similar games pop up on the App Store, trying to capture the magic and whimsy you folks created, and I see that Netflix has acquired you, and put the sequel on Steam/Windows/Devices I don't have.
I hope Netflix are treating you all well, and that you can continue putting amazing things into this world and doing what you love. I hope you're making time for your own loved ones.
I still listen to your soundtrack sometimes, and it still brings me back. And it's still the right thing for a walk near a quiet stream, or while tending a garden, or building something new.
My code: JMFTMKRC
I have gifts to give, and would love some back too!
I geniuenly don't understand how to make the different kinds of cats, and I don't just wanna cheat off wiki. Can someone just explain the basic mechanic? There is no info in game about what does what, and I keep getting moon cats, only once the red one.
