I thought someone would already have posted about this, but it appears not and seems like a good description of a crawler encounter. In the video (will link if anyone wants to watch it), Ethel Cain talks about her paranormal experiences. At 27:01 she talks about a white, oval-faced creature that stared at her from a wooden fort in the garden, which was witnessed by several different family members over a few years. It even attempted what could be described as a psychic attack, appearing in her dreams before she saw it herself.

Here is her description: "A long, slender, monkey thing. It was white, bright off-white. It had a perfectly ovular long face with two eyes and no other features, that was it."

This sounds very similar to other crawler sightings.

This was in northern Florida (Tallahassee) so not too far flung from where they are usually sighted. If anyone has personal experience of crawlers and wants to share their opinion on what this was, that would be great.

I know this isn't my firsthand experience but it is hers and I'm hoping that's okay for this subreddit, apologies if not!

So like what are the crawlers couse they honestly look like some pretty weak fuckers that would atleast like leave at a shotgun shot if not die, to me the crawlers look like some human species that grew apart from humans in evolution at some point and lived probly like in caves and not like demons or aliens or what ever, so like let's say I have an encounter and I have a shotgun or eaven a pistol really, is there really anymore of an threat than whit a bear or a really big wolf

Hello y'all, I just got back from a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide, but I had a really creepy encounter.
Context: I am 14 years old and travelled with my two parents and one grandparent.
It started with the car's boot not closing, which seemed like a normal thing. But the weird part is that it was an easy fix; my dad somehow did it, ruled it out, but then tried it again in a last attempt and it worked. We were stuck for an hour before being able to start. When we reached Beaufort about two hours later, we had a puncture in the left rear wheel. Well, Dad got it fixed by a mechanic in about an hour or so.
Soon we went on, and everything was normal until nightfall. We stopped at a gas station outside Nhill. I was standing outside the toilets just watching the road trains go by when I heard a 'crick'. I went to explore, thinking maybe it was a cat, a dog, or a dingo. It wasn't. I felt something watching me as I went into the dark. It felt like whatever lured me out there had come up behind me. I turned around swiftly to see no one, but I looked forward, and along the tree line of the plains was the silhouette of someone. They were muscular, but not in a good way like the Greeks—someone who was built full-on like a serial killer. I didn't know if the creature I saw was holding something, but it felt like it. That was the first creature I encountered.
When we drove on, there was a crash on the Wimmera Highway where a truck had crashed and the driver sadly passed away. We detoured through Edenhope into Naracoorte. We stopped at a fuel station in Naracoorte, just a 24-hour card-payment pump in a darkly lit side patch. When I stepped out, once again, a tall, long, skinny figure with a white face and a long nose was standing there. I believe in this stuff, so I remembered the rule Gramps told me: Don't fear it, don't acknowledge it, just act like it doesn't exist because it feeds off you. Just because it is 2 AM, I'm gonna type like a caveman.
So we reached Murray Bridge and I was looking out my window. I could see a woman all in white just standing motionless in the swampy part of the river. She was just waving her hands, but she had her hair in front of her face and didn't look like she was in distress. I asked my dad to look over, and well, he didn't see anything. That's about it. Let me know what I experienced.

Anyone ever seen or encountered one of these beings? Long slender pale gray/white creatures with dark sunken in eyes?

I experienced one around Game Lands 211 Dauphin County PA and curious if it was just me and also if anyone has any idea what the things are?

I finally saw them up close for myself yesterday. They're not "monsters." They're not cryptids. They're definitely not aliens. They're just people. Really old people. People who've clearly been out in the woods for a long time. I know everyone is going to jump down my throat because of the videos. "They're too tall." "Their skin looks weird." "They don't move right." Okay… Have you ever considered that maybe you're filming someone who's been living in the middle of the woods for years? I think people are making this way more dramatic than it actually is. If anything, I felt bad for them. They're just standing there and people keep recording them from 100 yards away like they're zoo animals. When I saw him yesterday he looked directly at me. I smiled. Nothing happened. They just stood there. Honestly, they seemed calmer than most people I know. Here's my theory. I think they found something to make them live longer than everyone else but in a different way. That's it. I think they chose to never leave the woods. Why would they? If you found something that completely changed your life, why would you go back to sitting in traffic and paying bills? Everybody keeps acting like these people are dangerous. Maybe they're just done with the rest of us. Maybe they figured something out that we haven't.  After seeing them myself… I honestly think the sadder explanation is the real one. They're not just some creature. They're just people who never wanted to leave. And after everything I've experienced...I don't think I blame them anymore.

not me but my boyfriend. about a month ago we were walking through a local park on the way back to his house. it was sometime around 2-4am.

we were sitting on the swing set, just talking and hanging out. he kept looking over his shoulder, where there was a small stream separating the park from the fire station. he stayed calm but ushered us to leave. i walked near where he was looking, to go to the bridge across the stream to leave the park. he didn’t let me and quickly led me a different way.

the way home he told me he had saw an all white figure crouching and staring at him in the forest, just at the creeks bank. we got home and were spooked. he said he could not stop staring, it made him want to die. i accidentally walked past it without knowing.

he told me the creature avoided the light, was purposely hiding but somehow taunting him.

I was letting my dog out for the night around 11pm. I was standing on the bottom step of my porch while she did her thing and I had that disturbing feeling of being watched. My eyes immediately look in the direction of the feeling, to the house down the street on the corner. I see a small figure crouched on their porch roof watching me. The only way I can describe it was kinda like Gollum from Lord of the Rings, but also part animal, no fur, but pale skin. It was watching me. I got the distinct impression that there were a lot more of these things around. I was super creeped out and immediately went inside. Has anyone ever seen anything like this???

Is it possible that this, is mainly an American creature?

I never heard of such stories in Europe.

I was running by Runyon Canyon one night (I don't usually like to run at night but I was busy that day) and I thought I heard a noise and I turned around and I thought I saw a tree move. I turned back around like my mind must be playing tricks on me but then I heard another noise so I turned around again and I saw a man, but he was like dressed as a tree and he had this really terrifying, maniacal grin. It scared the living daylights out of me and I just turned around and kept running. Never looked back. I don't know if my mind was playing tricks on me or something but I swear he was there. I still can't figure if I saw a man or a tree. I guess it was a Tree Man.

I was on my way to work it was around 3:30am. Is it was driving into a storm the night sky lit up with lightning and so did the ground. For that split second I could see something running ahead of me at an angle. It was pale and It had long and thin arms and legs. It disappeared back into the night once the flash was over. The whole thing happened so fast that im not even sure if it was weird.

So..I just moved to the ozarks !! Love it here...but this morning around 3 am I stepped outside..n something..went..EEEEWWWAAAAA.. at me..ANY IDEAS..ON WHAT IT MIGHT BE ...AND WILL IT BE BACK ?

I've talked about being from Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachians, but I never specified where. There's a post on another subreddit of a triangle UAP hovering over where I live, which is Carrollton, Georgia.

I'm not disclosing my name, at least not for now. I don't want people to think I'm doing this for attention or money. I'm only disclosing my location now because it feels like the right time considering the video I saw.

I figure if any agencies wanted me, they would have snatched me up that night the black helicopter flew over, but I also hadn't openly discussed my location, either. Now I am. This is just my note to let y'all know I'm taking a riskier step forward in hopes that I'll be able to reach people locally that might need help.

If I disappear, you'll know why and from where. I don't expect anything to happen, but considering the delicate nature of this whole situation and the state that the entire world is in right now, better safe than sorry. Keep supporting each other. Remember things I have taught y'all and share them. Help each other feel seen and feel safe to open up about their experiences. Be gentle, be kind, be open-minded.

It was probably nothing, but I went outside tonight to get a drink, and the second I stepped out from behind my porch door, I heard a loud like.. I dunno, have you ever heard a dog snarl? It was like that, and I heard something running towards my porch, didn’t see anything though. Probably woke my family up, I slammed the door so hard. Even worse, my door doesn’t close, it can only be closed using deadbolt. So- probably a coincidence, but I do find it odd that’s the first time I’ve ever heard something like that outside.
