Hi everyone, with the advent of a new game on the horizon, we’re seeing more and more discussion for our favorite franchise. With that also comes an influx of new people into the subreddit, so i’d like to take this time and announce that i’ve set up moderator applications. I’d also like to take this time and ask what kind of suggestions do you have for this subreddit.

In the meantime, i've added a separate flair for Crazy Taxi: World.

I’d like to remind everyone to treat each other with respect, we’ve seen a lot of discussion around the disclosure of Sega using AI. Please do not target and harass other users, regardless of their position. Let’s keep discussion respectful. I don't want to shut down discussion of AI completely as it's important as consumers to voice our concerns and demands, but i've seen an uptick in volatility and some reports recently.

Lastly, please feel free to leave any suggestions in terms of what we can add, for a while i've been toying with the idea of adding flairs to customize user experience, but couldn't settle on doing character portraits, class licenses, or just a game in the series.

does not matter the style of machine but of course the sit down version is superior. would even be down to find a cruisin usa machine. any iteration.

Looks like it lacks the spirit of the original.

Looks disappointing so far to be honest. Not chaotic enough, like others have said it feels stiff, the boost in the original gave you a real sense of fun and craziness but here the camera stays the same and you dont see it with the taxi.

Why does the taxi look so stiff and the way it drifts, there is no fluidity. No sense of speed. It looks like a polished phone game.

Why is the camera angle so far up? It needs to be up close and personal, makes it so much more fun when you are racing through traffic and people.

Funny how the original game was made by Japanese people trying to replicate what American culture was like in the 90's and there's so much charm to it. This with the hud and sound effects feels just bland and corporate lol.
