I don't know why in world you would see a random family and decide to follow them to their home at 12 in night.

So what happened folks was, we went to basti super foods 11 30 at night just to enjoy and feel relaxed a little. Soon as we got there i saw a white car pulled up with 3 dudes in it. I didn't pay much attention earlier. But one of them was making too much eye contact. Istg i had my brother beside me and it didn't stop him from being a weirdo 🥴.

And mind you these guys were in 20s ig and seem a lil educated so i thought might just be nothing. We were about to leave when i saw their car exiting in opposite direction so i thought OK THEY GONE THIS WAS JUST A WEIRD INTUITION.

Allah ki kasam at blanco traffic light i saw in side mirror and that mf was creepingly smiling toward me. Moment was so horrible we sped and Thank God they got stopped at pof hotel check point. BUT THEY FOLLOWED US TILL JAMIA MASJID.🙂

To the friends of those creeps, and to people around such creeps please ask them to ky KHUDA KA WASTA ye chochori harkatein chor do. Why you people feel happy after making someone scared.

When I was a teenager, I would constantly bring up the statistics of violence upon women in this country to bring more awareness in hopes of change, or at least more support whenever a misogynistic relative wanted to yap about how "women have all their rights and freedom in Pakistan." I would talk about experiences of being cooped up in the house - being prevented to go outside with friends or to just simply WALK because the dangers were numerous. Their reply? Don't ask, nothing changed.

As an adult, now I look back and realise that was a waste of time because these cases are FINALLY getting media attention by popping up every single day, and there's still no change is being done besides a parliamentarian submitting a bill to increase punishment to a death penalty for perpetrators of acid attacks (and we don't even know if it will be approved)

There's so many ways to create change, like reforms in the education system by making sociology a required subject and introducing sex education in schools, literature to include Mary Wollstonecraft, Simone de Beauvoir, Parveen Shakir, Kishwar Naheed, and biographies of influential Pakistani women like Fatima Bhutto and Ra'ana Liaquat Ali Khan made mandatory to read about; and unregulated madarsas to be reformed to prevent the risk of sectarianism and extremist rhetoric.

For the love of god, we need change. SA upon women and children increase everyday - to the point children have started doing it to other children, female enrollment within universities has started decreasing, and our spot on the Gender Index Gap is at 148 out of 148 countries with 56.7% gender parity - this is a CONCERN that cannot be ignored anymore.

For everyone following that girl's harassers story. I had her cousin added on one of the platforms and i just got the message from her that the same girl has passed away????? I asked her the reason but she's not responded yet. My heart literally hurts so much. If it's because of all those harassers may Allah's wrath be upon them. This is so so sad
