Gravid?

This is my female LW Cora, she has been paired with a cappuccino. Lately she has been eating her food bowels clean, digging under her paper towel, being more active, and gained a few grams. She appears more rounded below her rib cage, and today when she was sitting still, I saw what looks like two bulges below her ribs. She doesn’t lay duds, so I do not want to get my hopes up, but also want to anticipate her needs. Does she look gravid?

(She’s 2.5-3yo, and 52g, she has a dig box in her viv)

for people still living with their parents - how did you convince them to let you get a crested gecko?

Since a child i’ve always been obsessed with reptiles. I would always ask my mum to let me get one and she’d always say no. I’m 19 now and have two blue death feigning beetles. I asked my mum if she’d be comfortable with me getting a crested gecko, it was a “maybe” at first and quickly turned into a “no”. Any tips on convincing her 😅 I’ve tried to sweeten her up with some gifts but she doesn’t see to be budging (wel maybe a little but not much!)

Has anyone else seen this before?

I’ve had my crested Bowie for almost nine years now and I got him as a rescue from a local petstore (had to sign paperwork to get him for free and everything) since the employees didn’t know what was wrong with his eyes or how much he can see since they’re pretty deformed. He eats, gets around fine is a healthy weight and i have him in a slightly shorter terrarium since i don’t want him to fall. He’s been seeing a specialist vet yearly for checkups and deworming but even she didn’t know what was wrong with his eyes and i haven’t seen anything similar online. If anyone knows or has ideas please share.

Does the tail look okay?

I noticed this morning that my babies tail looked a little odd and I’m not sure if it’s tail rot or what I’m about to go away on vacation so any advice is so appreciated thank you in advance. The first picture is from this morning (yes that’s how she’s sleeping😭) and the second is a zoomed in picture of her tail a few weeks ago. Idk if it’s just another angle I haven’t seen before either. I’m just not sure if I should worry or not.

How to decrease humidity in a crested gecko enclosure?

So I don't have the gecko yet, I get it Saturday at an expo.
I've been setting up the tank. Today, while testing the misting system I bought, the humidity went up to a desired level but is now struggling to go down after multiple hours. My main issue lies in the bottom of the tank. Any tips? I think some of it may be to over saturation from me testing how I wanted the mist to be, but I feel it should have gone down more over multiple hours. The first picture shows the enclosure, the second shows the humidity reading at the bottom of the enclosure, and the third shows the humidity reading at the top of the enclosure. Any tips? I worry the humidity won't go down enough during the day when I get the gecko.
