I'm looking at this deal on their website. I have been a Verizon customer for years and looking to switch, Verizon is over rated and too expensive.

There is always a catch and I haven't caught it in their terms and services. It appears that I have to take their $55 plan but I get HBO in the mix. I have to use that plan for 2 months, but then I can switch to a different plan if I want. I have to stay with cricket for 6 months before I'm eligible for an unlock to a different service.

Am I missing anything? Verizon was sneakily signing people up for 3 year contracts. They would boast their phone is "free" with a monthly deal that is overpriced for 3 years. Is it anything like that?

My son will be travelling to France for a one month school program. I called CricketWireless support and said that he would by a local eSim (Orange) and I wanted to make sure we were not going to get with a huge bill because Cricket was roaming of foreign networks. Support said since we didn't have International services there would be no charge. I find this a little hard to believe.

This phone is an old iphone XR (I told him to just get a new one), but I wasn't sure how to deactivate the Cricket Sim and use the eSim. I don't recall seeing any roaming settings but maybe I need to check again. Maybe he is using a physical sim card. If so, should we just pop it out?

I assume this phone is unlocked. I can't remember where we bought it.

Any tips or advice? Thank you.

Looking for an android with either large internal storage or a SD slot. I dislike Cricket's Motorolas, so what are some options I can bring over? Something under $500 would be good too.

Cricket double charged me, lied to me about double charging me, changed my language settings to a language I do not speak, on a different day (after i fixed the language issue) admitted they applied the charge to a different account (not mine), won’t tell me what account they applied it to, and lied to me (again) about it today. Horrible customer service, theft, and lies.

Does anyone know anything about Cricket Wireless' upgrading process?

I've hit the 1 year mark on our service plan and I see that it says "upgrade available" on the app. When I chatted online with a rep, he made it sound like we would have to purchase the new phones in full. We both have the A15's and we can't stand them and want to switch back to iPhones.

I guess my question is, does Cricket actually offer yearly phone upgrades or should we seek out a different carrier?

Has anyone used international plans ? I would only need internet on my phone . I don’t need to make calls . Which plan would make sense ? I’m on $$45 plan currently. Thank you .

So I joined AT&T a while back, but now I’m ready to leave them. They upcharged their plans. I was paying $60 for unlimited data and no slowed-down service. Well, they changed everything. The $50 plan is now unlimited data, but after using 5gb they slow your service. I need working service, so I went to the $72 plan. I’m paying almost $ 108 for a watch and iPhone. The trade in credits doesn’t even seem worth it. I want to go back to cricket but my phone is locked. I don’t want my phone black listed or anything. I can pay the full phone off in September. Can I switch?

Get your FIRST 3 months for $45. How much does it go up to, $40? What is the duration of the plan after 3 months?

I went on tmobiles web site and put in my cricket iPhone 16e imei number . Even tho my phone is locked by cricket , T-Mobile said that I can add their eSIM. Is that accurate? Thank you

I bought my iPhone 17e last saturday ($600 if I’m not mistaken, paid in full and activated in store). I think the return policy is 7 days and that’s tomorrow!!

I already find this phone to be worse and slower than my 2020 iPhone SE, which was at full storage and losing function when I moved on to this one...

The SE was somehow much faster loading web pages on cellular data...Earlier today I noticed this phone wouldn’t even budge when I tried to look up a restaurant menu on LTE. I live in Iowa City, a state college town, not the sticks.

The clerk at Cricket told me this phone was (quote) ”designed to work on the premium plans”, and that it would not move in the way I liked until I paid for Cricket’s more premium plans (upwards of $50/mo)…

I’ve been paying for the $35/mo plan for YEARS with minimal trouble until now… I barely even use 2 gigs of data, and I make shit money as a preschool director…

I think this is odd and really putting me off Cricket and maybe even iPhone altogether…

Is the clerk correct? Should I switch phones or carriers?

So my friend added a line to her phone plan so I could get the iPhone 13 from the promotion they had going on. I've been paying my part of the bill every month but we got into it and are no longer friends. She took me off of her phone plan now I don't know what can be done about it. I obviously need a phone. How can I get it to work?

I interviewed yesterday for a Wireless Retail Sales Advocate position at a Cricket Wireless authorized retailer (Rymco LLC) and I genuinely cannot tell if I’m overthinking things or if the interview actually went really well.

The interview was with the store manager in person and the district manager over Google Meets. The talent acquisition training manager was supposed to be there too but couldn’t make it.

The interview itself was very laid back and conversational. The store manager asked most of the questions and they were all pretty standard customer service/sales questions. He seemed to really like my answers, especially when I talked about adaptability, helping people, customer service, and reliability.

One thing he seemed REALLY impressed by was how close I live to the store. I live like 5 minutes away and he kept mentioning attendance/reliability. I also showed up about 10 minutes early to the interview and when they were discussing opening shifts, he literally said something along the lines of:

“You were able to show up 10 minutes early to the interview so I know you’d have no problem coming in to open.”

The district manager mostly asked questions about training, attendance policy, scheduling, and making sure I was okay with the hours/shifts. When I asked about next steps, she explained that if I were offered the position, I would receive an offer letter email and then onboarding paperwork afterward.

After the interview, the store manager gave me a full tour of the store and while walking me out I asked if he thought I was likely to get the job. He said yes and also said: “I’m looking forward to working with you.”

He also mentioned another employee starting training in the first week of June.

Here’s where I’m overthinking though:

It’s now Friday night (a little over 24 hours later) and I still haven’t gotten an offer email, rejection, or really any update.

I know logically that’s not THAT long, but I’ve had situations before where I thought an interview went amazingly and then got rejected, so now I’m second-guessing everything.

For people who work at any of the authorized retailers for Cricket:

- Do store managers usually have a real say in hiring decisions at places like this?

- Does this sound genuinely promising or am I reading too much into it?

- Is no news after about a day generally neutral/good or bad in retail hiring?

I really hope that I really did get the job and I’ll hear something on Monday! Thanks in advance!

So for some reason my mobile hotspot just completely stopped working, and I've tried every solution the internet has provided, they all don't work, the only thing I'm left with when I try is this message, which leads to no where other than the "here buy more hotspot you can't use" page.
