Bello!

So finally.. this project is done with! I have been planning on this for a year or so but never found the right time and the materials and the perfect mood to start and complete it.

Althou I was intending a 30inch size(I missed to note the adapted idea was made using chenille yarn), I made a quite average 12-15inch tall minion.

One of the things that I learnt while making this was, crocheting is the easier part, assembly of diff parts symmetrically… ugh! that was difficult.

But know what, I learnt something new; and this helped me take my mind of this busy life and have some good sleep while I was at it.❤️

For anyone curious about the design, it's adapted from the Bob the Minion pattern by Crochet Pink Pumpkin, and the eyes were inspired by HodgePodge Crochet

I DoNot enjoy sewing the bits together!!

I have discovered that I truly do not enjoy learning to sew the bits together…. BUT… I do love watching it come together more than I hate the sewing…. Sew sew on 😭🫠😪🫶🏻. This is my second ever (one day)completed amigurumi project, I may have over reached my current skill level 😂

Turtle dress up

Not an original idea, I’ve seen a few variations made on YouTube. Each shell has four chain 4 straps underneath to fit onto the turtle kind of like a double backpack. I just freehanded and experimented as I went along.

I made the head first then shaped in and back out to form the body and tiny tail. The flippers are just circles, folded over snd stitched together.

I’m sure I will make a few more shells.

Look what I came up with! ✨🦄 What do you think — should I keep creating toys like these and designing new patterns? Yesterday I had such a huge wave of inspiration! 💖🧶
