I made these 2 different hippos and I can't decide which one I like better. I would like to combine the 2 patterns since there are certain features I like from both.

As a beginner, this is my best work so far. I followed this free YouTube tutorial. I use a 3.5mm crochet because my yarn is too thick for the recommended 2.25 mm crochet in this video. The head can move also :)

Alright! Take 2 of the pi plushie. I didn’t add a face to this one because I wanted to get the shape down first. (Warning: the first pi was harmed in the creation of the second pi)

Everyone loved the Virgin Mary doll the most but my favorite is hello kitty stitch 😍 I’m very proud of all of these though ☺️

I made these two from the same pattern. I used the same brand of yarn. The one on the left is yarn over with a 5.0mm hook. The right is yarn under with a 5.5mm hook. Look at the size difference from making one little change.

it is going so hecking well, i am so glad i decided to take on such a dumb project. Couple of size refs, one with a couch and the other on my bed with a Blåhaj, plus a close up of the scale pattern im using for the dark-green back. surprisingly, im actually making pretty good time to get this finished before the end of the month!
