Is anyone from Kenya currently receiving tasks on this project?
I've noticed things have been pretty quiet on my end, so I'm wondering if it's just me or if other Kenyan contributors are experiencing the same issue. Are you still getting tasks?
Is there anyone whose payment part has begun processing or just showing any figures as per today for those in Kenya
I received an invitation from Braintrust for the Poliwag transcription of my native language. I already had a Crowdgen Appen account so didn't need to create a new account and did the calibration/assessment right away. I thought it was supposed to be in my native language but was in English. When can I expect to hear back? Or any suggestions? I am from Bangladesh

Hey, I signed up for an audio transcription task of my local language yesterday. Today, I tried to complete the onboarding by taking the Poliwag Qualification Calibration, but the page that I'm redirected to is stuck saying "Loading your task..." and reloading repeatedly with no task. How can I fix it? (I'm from Ethiopia)
Does anyone have an idea how long it takes for Crowdgen to at least even give a person a project, especially for residents in counries like kenya? Its been months since i created my first account and i have never seen even a single project. What's frustrating is that some of my friends created their accounts much more recently and have already been assigned project poliwag. At this point, it honestly feels a bit biased, but maybe I'm missing something. (Kenya)
There are Tasks on rn but it's impossible to work on Nexus/ ADAP. The audio breaks all the time and we need to F5 the page and it takes forever to load again. Anyone else? Brazil PT- BR here
So, I am from Egypt, and the audio is in egyptian arabic, the problem is that the auto transcription is a terrible English translation of what is being said
So should I just delete it and write everything in arabic from scratch or translate it to English?

After making significant amendments to one of my tasks on project poliwag, I tried to submit it, but I received the following error: "Unable to submit & contact the project support team." It also removed all the corrections I had made, even though I had saved the draft. Who should i contact?

This is the post for all invoice/payment questions for payment of work in June(and before).
Reminder: Workers have a reasonable expectation that Appen should ensure amounts owed for June work start appearing on the website in the first week of July, with payment mid-month. Payments are supposed to be for all work up to the end of June. But as many of us still remember, Appen has a history of letting deadlines slip so this thread is to keep an eye on this as the month progresses.
Some users continue to report not receiving payment until after the 21st of the month. Let's keep an eye on this. We need to be paid mid-month and Appen should honour this.
Appen has a history of attempting to "move the goalposts" in messaging, for example by pushing the message that they "initiate payments" mid month, whereas previously many of us were used to money arriving in our accounts mid-month and now it appears to be regularly delayed, increasing anxiety for workers. Let's keep an eye on this too.

Audio work report-Poliwag
Has anyone received an email from the production team containing an audio work report?, I have just received mine and it doesn't align with the time i have worked so far, or do they mean hours for the calibration task? I'm confused. Also, the segments are very few, I have never done an audio with 6 segments. From Kenya

I can see the queue and work .should i continue working to shohld i wait . I have sent a ticket they just said anticipate an email regarding workoad which is very confusing as i can see the work .

I started working on poliwag yesterday, I did 6 tasks (two i couldn't do because language was wrong). Now it shows there is no more work available. Does this show for anyone else? I got into two poliwag projects, the other one doesn't have any work available either. USA locale.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question about this project. This specific scenario isn't clear at all in the guidelines.
I want to know what to do when one speaker's voice shows up inside another speaker's segment. For example, Speaker 2 talks through almost the entire audio, but in one specific area, Speaker 1 suddenly speaks for a moment, meaning that part of the audio is stuck in the wrong segment.
How should I handle this? The platform doesn't allow me to add a new segment to split what the AI lumped together as if it were the same speaker.
Should I just ignore it? Should I remove it from the wrong segment and add it to the next correct speaker segment? Or am I just missing how to add a new segment? The guidelines don't mention anything about this. I haven't been active on this project yet because I ran into this doubt right off the bat.
I'd really appreciate some help from someone experienced with the Poliwag Transcription Project. Thank you!

Hi from Argentina!: Are the units I completed this month for project Armanda system-tracked? So I don't have to submit my units or do anything else to get paid, right? I just set up the payment method and that's it? I'm sorry, I'm not familiarized with the payments yet. Thank you guys!!
