I got these sand G2 Army Customs for a good deal, of course the catch is the botched ATAKs camo job on them done using spray paint. Unknown spray paint manufacturer and type, all I know is its on there. How may I go about saving these otherwise nice pants without damaging the fabric underneath?
Could somebody help me identify these? I know they are G3, absolutely sure about it, also I figured that they are FR cuz I already had crye fr pants, but why do they have the custom label? I bought them in shop, no second hand. Is there any way how to find for which country etc were these made? Thank you and sorry for my english
The story behind these is pretty interesting, these were primarily issued to Dutch Troops taking part with the MINUSMA UN mission, but those were standard G3s and NFM garments.
later however, the G3s became relatively standard and ordered for missions to Iraq and such, with that came additions and modifications, now sporting a Rank Eppaulette, name tape and a unit patch on the Left Chest

My buddy is giving me a CPC for free in good condition. As far as plate carriers go i know its an oldie and the AVS or LV 120 are seen as the gold standards for PCs that can bear a significant load at this point. I was hoping to turn this into my duty kit (68W) and was seeking input on any modifications to bring the carrier up to date? I understand the harness makes things difficult to mess with in terms of cummerbund but maybe im missing something that others have not. Any advice is appreciated

I thought these were Gen 2 or Gen 3 but those don’t seem to have the Velcro adjustment at the knee and ankles the way my pants do. The pockets are also definitely not Gen 3.5.
The tag on the inside left pocket is extremely faded, so no information there.

I bought this G3 and well its labeled as it should, but I dont know if its authenthic what got me was when I compared the AirFlex with a real pair that I own, and I saw the pattent markings were missing.

I have the a set of G3 pants that I've had for about 8 years, I've used for field training and Airsoft, and they've held up awesome.
However, I hate the G3 Kneepads. I'm on my 3rd set and even those are starting to deform and pop out.
Anyone have alternatives? Are the G4 Kneepads any better? Are there any 3rd party alternatives?
