I finally played crysis 3

I played Crysis 3 recently and I immediately fell in love with it.

It instantly became my #1 favorite game of all time.

Everything just clicked perfectly for me — the music, the atmosphere, the overgrown futuristic New York environment, the insane graphics, the story, the nanosuit technology, and the weapons. Even after all these years, the game still feels ahead of its time.

The bow alone is cooler than entire weapon systems in some modern games.

I honestly didn’t expect a game from 2013 to feel this immersive and visually stunning. The mix of ruined nature and futuristic tech gives it such a unique vibe that very few games manage to capture.

People always talk about “Can it run Crysis?” as a meme, but after finally playing it, I get why this series became legendary.

Unbelievable visuals of Crysis 3, knowing the game was made 13 years ago

Crysis is such a weird and honestly bad franchise and I can't help but hate it as a ex-big fan and I want to reminisce about it with people.

(Continuing the title) more I think and look back about Crysis, it gets more morbid and weird. Along with many things, inconsistencies between the games like protagonists and gameplay, it's overwhelming me whenever I think about it as someone who really loved the franchise back then and grew up with it. I couldn't help but had to leave this franchise behind completely after realizing the story and gameplay is absolutely not what I wanted it to be and Crysis 4 wouldn't change it. Regarding Crysis 4, it was such a weird feeling when it was announced to be real. This makes me feel unexplainably depressing to say but for reasons I mentioned along with many I have yet to tell, I hate to tell this but I do not mind the game being seemingly cancelled, almost at all. I don't think the game is/(most likely)was going to be in my favor and choices. Don't hate me but I think this franchise is okay with being forgotten. I want this to be a kind of AMA so I can speak with people and have conversations and argue so people can see what I have to tell and maybe I can see how many people agree with me and the things I have to say.

Subject: A Concept for the Crysis 4 Reveal Trailer - Bringing back the atmosphere of the Original

I’ve been a huge fan of the series since 2007, and I spent countless hours in the CryEngine Sandbox editor, exploring every hidden sound and asset. I have an idea for the Crysis 4 teaser that could truly shock the community and bring back that 'Nomad' vibe we all miss.

The Concept:

Total Darkness: The screen is black. No logos, no graphics.

Audio Design: You hear muffled, underwater sounds. Deep rumbles of distant explosions. It

feels claustrophobic and heavy.

System Reboot: Then, the iconic mechanical sound of the Nanosuit trying to power up. Static noise, electrical sparks. A glitchy voice says: "Life Support: Critical... Attempting System Reboot..."

The Breath: We hear a sharp, desperate gasp for air - a human breath (Nomad’s). This confirms he survived the events after the comics.

The Reveal: Ambient sounds of the jungle or a post-apocalyptic shore start fading in. Just as the Nanosuit voice says "Maximum Power", the screen flashes with a glimpse of a scarred visor, and the CRYSIS 4 logo appears.

This focus on sound and the 'survival' aspect would be a perfect nod to the first game and Warhead. Let’s bring back the legend!
