DC events shelfie
Finished binding 2 in cloth this week and added them (plus a few other TPBs) to the timeline. Coming along so nicely. I am still planning the end of the year for a deadline to complete the timeline of major events.

Originally released in Italy in 6 volumes.
Looking back at eight months of getting serious about designing books. Kind of blows my mind that I’ve edited, designed, printed and bound all of these in that time. And I’ve got no intention of slowing down either!
If anyone wants a better look at these I post flip-throughs on my YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@picturepeepers?si=ILIa8mIjXbMeWv1j
I recently contacted Houchen a while ago and they said they were caught on comic binding and it should be a 2 month turnaround. That was a week before last. That same week, I sent books that arrived last Monday. I messaged them mid-week to see if they had gotten them. They said yeah, and that it was behind 3 books that needed to be checked in. Fast forward to today, I still haven't recieved a pre-bill invoice. I'm not writing this to be impatient, I just want to know when to expect to be billed as I might have to dip into the money I set aside for this project.
Custom Dust-Jacket and Custom Logo too! (Made by me!)
For those who do their own binding, do you square cut your books or leave them as they are??
Let's see if this one is less controversial than my last post lol How I make covers. The same principles apply to dust jackets, though I don't show specifically how I format those here. If you want a separate video specifically on dust jackets, lemme know.
Does anyone have experience making a custom box to fit tpb's inside? what's your process?
I have a lot of thunderbolts trade paperbacks all signed by the writers and i'd like to keep them in tact.
like this swamp thing box set:
Volume 5 gets me through LSH 100.
It finally arrived! I'm so happy with how it came out. I love the Superboy tv show and I had some of the comics growing up. I spent the first part of this year hunting for the issues I was missing. Seeing it all collected is a joy. I'm so happy with the job Houchen did. They haven't lost their touch.
Can't wait to send my next order!
In honor of the big release this week, here’s a look at my most recent custom! I finally finished binding my gigantic collection of the original pencils pages of John Byrne’s X-Men Elsewhen. All 32 issues in one oversized hardcover, plus over a hundred pages of extras including a prologue assembled from the long abandoned original ending of #137!
