Will Cyno be able to get Stellar Superconduct by himself

Got kinda confused between all the new buffs and Sandrone's kit. Will Cyno be able to get Stellar Superconduct himselft or does he need Sandrone/Future 7.X characters to get access to it ?

Hypothetical Stellar Cyno Calcs (read description plz)

Hello friends, I'm sure we are all wondering how strong or not Cyno will be with his new buffs in 6.7. Unfortuantely we'll have to wait until 7.0 to know for sure, since the only way to enable the reaction right now is with Sandrone, and she's a DPS herself. But, i've done a hypothetical calc for now so that we can get an idea still.

  • Assumptions

This calc is for if the reaction was enabled by someone on a team of Cyno, Yae, Qiqi, Beidou with their buffs. My assumption here is that whatever Stellarconduct enabler support we get in 7.0 should realistically be at least as good or better than either Beidou or Qiqi (especially since this is single target Beidou damage), plus we'll probably have things like a new support set and/or a Stellar resonance or something like that, so the numbers may very well end up even higher.

The Stellarconduct assumptions here assume that the buffs from the reaction apply to the supports from off-field, and the team can maintain the 38 DMG% and 1.9 reaction multiplier the whole time.

Stellarconduct EM formula is calced the exact same as with Lunar.

Yae is calced with her 125% Stellarconduct attack hitting every 2.5s.

These numbers are calced at my calc standard, not KQMC. Details in the second image. You can get an idea of what everyone calcs at currently at my standard via my sheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KW7-XkakuXFg3otKhveZoMLBMrd3fM-M7GM9KvmYvZA/edit?usp=sharing

  • Deductions

Stellarconduct Cyno is currently looking to essentially be a Stellar version of Flins: His Duststalker bolts here are doing ~286k each (and there's three, so ~860k total), and are ~80% of his total damage output. So he plays by doing his Normal Attacks, dealing little dmg to the enemy but applying Electro, then big nuke each time it comes up, aka Stellar Flins. Cyno's Duststalker now seems to actually be a huge nuke worthy of being a Quicktime Event.

EM/EM/Crit is looking to be his best build in Stellar teams, EM Circlet viable with good subs, but worse than Crit. EM Sands and Goblet are way better than ATK/Electro, because his Duststalker Bolts are way bigger Mult on EM than the ATK scaling, and are the biggest portion of his damage by far. Additionally, the EM not only goes to the multiplier, but also the Stellarconduct DMG%, and Staff of Scarlet Sands passive, so he's triple dipping on EM here.

So I think in 7.0 when we can properly play Stellar DPS Cyno, we can prob (at my standard, Ive no clue for KQMC) expect ~180-210k team DPS Cyno give or take. And possibly even further beyond if Rimegrass is real since we should be able to use both that and Aggravate and Stellarconduct all in the same team (Electro onto Dendro+Cryo aura triggers both reactions unless they change it), and then possibly even further beyond with the Tsaritsa.

But again, this a day 1 hypothetical calc, so don't take any of this as gospel. Just giving us something to worth with for now.

I'll try and calc Quickswap with Sandrone once we know her hit counts, intervals, field time etc., for those that will want to use Stellar Cyno as soon as 6.7. But its prob way smarter to be patient and save for 7.0

Can anyone explain how his skill will work now

He can use his skill and get his burst for 6 seconds, so will he just enter his burst form when pressing the skill? Will the skill turn into the burst after 6 seconds? Is his old skill completely gone now?

What type of Polarm is Cyno's signature?

I know there are multiple types that fall under "polearm", and most of them match up w/ some of the polearms in game (i.e. Raiden's signature is a naginata, Escoffier's is more of a trident, Xiao's is a spear, etc.)

I want to describe it in writing but I have 0 clue what term to use for it other than "polearm", but I want to be more specific. Anyone have any ideas?

Disappointed on how the new talents and constellations only work with Stellar and not his old kit.

After hearing cyno buffs were here I was excited to see what they’ll do since I have C2R1 but was disappointed when I saw them because of that. The albedo treatment is what I was expecting to happen because his constellations went from mid to goated. Im not interested in stellar reactions because those who know me in this subreddit know That TF is life and I will never leave it. Do you think they’ll change it

The Downside of the Buff

So having seen the new buffs for Cyno my enthusiasm and hype has quickly petered out.

Don't get me wrong I am so happy to see Cyno getting any sort of attention from Hoyo, but I honestly would've rather waited a year or two more (after Liyue + Inazuma) for a Sumeru Hexerei buff than taken a buff for a reaction no one built him in.

The way that Cyno is built now, aside from the mini ult every few seconds, is essentially completely throwing out his old teams in favor of new ones. If his main source of direct damage is a reaction he has never built before, he can no longer make use of overload, any direct dendro reaction, lunar or electro charged, or any of the blooms

That essentials devalues any of his previous characters we as Cyno mains have farmed, built, and planned for over the past years. I feel incredibly bittersweet about the whole thing.

I'm happy to see this happen for him, but it being at the cost of him forgetting all the friends we made along the way feels like my 10+ 5*s worth of characters he worked with mean next to nothing now.

Is everyone still as excited or is there any trepidation from other Cyno mains?

Sara could be one of Cyno best buffer in the future.

With his upgrade kit leaks, Sara will be one of his best buffers due to he can enter burst mode after using skill for 6 sec, Kujou buff also lasts for 6 sec.

And the best part is this change doesn't require a new reaction to be triggered.

Depends on if you have C4 Cyno and c2 Xilonen, and Sara cons, swapping between Cyno and Sara will be smooth as you can alternate between Sara skill(no charge atk as reduce onfield time) and her burst before swapping back to Cyno.

On second thought, doing Sara charge atk after deploying her skill is good to fill time gap as Cyno skill cd is 7.5🤔

What's your thoughts?

Cyno's new playstyle in 6.7

I've been analyzing his buffs and I'm so happy I'll be able to play him again and competitively. I'll splash all my thoughts about this here. He is now a quiqkswap DPS with Sandrone!

What really makes him a quick swap characters are his C1 (it's free) and a new talent that allows him to enter the burst state for 6 seconds by just using the elemental skill.

So, the new reaction seems to relly on EM and ATK, and he will be able to deal the Stellar DMG just like Flins or Nefer deal lunar DMG, replacing his 3 electro hits of the elemental skill during the burst with 3 Stellar-superconduct hits, and those new hits recieve a lot more buffs from his kit than the old hits. Sadly, the reaction is locked behind Sandrone so you actually need her for this to work

The old hits have an MV of 100% of his atk and are buffed by 250% of his EM.

The new hits have an MV of 80% of his atk but are buffed by 600% of his EM (And can recieve more direct buffs from other characters and the new set)

Aditionally, his new passive that allows him to enter the burst state for 6s with the elemental skill is perfect for quick swapping with Sandrone, as it seems that all her DMG is dealt in 6s too. And he does not need ER anymore.

lastly, his free C1 is perfect for this, because now he gains 200 extra EM and that will be given to the next character to enter the field (Sandrone), it's like he becomes a TTDS but for EM instead of ATK (And there's no CD for this).

If you have his C2 he also gives up to 50% stellar-superconduct DMG to the next character, that's insane.

And his C6 is just crazy, 8 extra stellar-superconduct hits, one every 0.4s.

All this also Synergizes with Diona and Beidou C6's buffs and we get this new team:

Cyno/Sandrone/Beidou/Diona

Diona and Beidou are likely to be replaced in the future but they're really good teammates, they give 400 EM, 15% cryo and electro RES shred and 40% stellar-superconduct DMG bonus.
And they also have a nice uptime, Beidou's buff last 15s and Diona's lasts 12s which should be just enough for Sandrone and Cyno make a lot of DMG.

You could maybe replace Beidou with Sucrose or C2 Kazuha, but I'm not sure if that'll be comfy to play. You can't replace the cryo unit because you need some cryo app.

Lastly, it's probable that Cyno's new BiS would be the new one in 6.6, giving him 16 CR, 80% superconduct DMG bonus and 40% stellar-superconduct DMG bonus.

In my case, sadly I don't have his sig but the BP weapon seems to be a good option, the one that gives 120 EM at R1.

I'm so happy that my beloved General Maha-Matra is getting this buffs, and I'm enjoying a lot doing this.

I'm crying... these buffs are so good I'm genuinely tearing up. [Luna VIII/6.7 LEAKS]

They fixed all of his problems: he can enter his Burst state with just his Skill—for a shorter duration too—fixing his ER needs AND he can play with so many more supports because his rotation isn't abysmally long, they gave him (at C1) a TWO HUNDRED EM buff that he can TRANSFER to the next ally which adds so much more complexity to his teams, and on top of all that he's also got Stellar-Conduct going...

It's never felt so good to be a Cyno fan.

Correction to my last post

I made a mistake in this post, I assumed that with the new buffs, Cyno could activate the 3 stellar superconduct hits with just the elemental skill, but re-reading the buffs I noticed that it says this:

"While in the Pactsworn Pathclearer state of Sacred Rite: Wolf’s Swiftness, Cyno will periodically enter the Endseer Stance state."

Secret Rite: Wolf's Swiftness is the name of the elemental burst, so the only way to actibate the Endseer Stance is by using the burst, meaning 2 things. First of all, you need ER to activate the burst (and remember his modest cost of 80), and secondly, he needs to be on field at least 8s (in burst) to activate the stellar hits twice making more difficult for Sandrone to retain Diona's and Beidou's buffs.

I've been trying to calc how much ER you'd need for this to work and if you use Fav on Beidou and Diona you'd need around 130ER and Sandrone would have 4s with all the buffs, so this could work depending on how Sandrone deals her DMG. If she can deal all her DMG in 4s this could be great, if not my dream team is probably wrong

You could hit just one instance of stellar hits with him, but that'd make you need more ER and it'd be difficult to deal with Diona's and Beidou's 20s cooldowns.

But well, we still don't know exactly how much time Sandrone is in field, so maybe there is another way or another character to fit in the team. Sorry for my mistake

I hope I'm wrong and you can enter de Endseer Stance but I think it does jot seem probable
