Cyno might be the most FUTURE PROOF DPS now
With his new Stellar-Conduct kit, Cyno is currently looking to be a top meta DPS, surpassing Flins as the strongest Electro DPS. But not only is he extremely powerful, but also extremely versatile at dealing with different boss shill mechanics.
Stellar bosses are handled by him, that's a given. But he should be able to handle far more.
Lunar Bosses: Stellar-Conduct can be triggered by an Enemy effect by Lunar-Charged, since Hydro and Electro coexist as aura. This allows Cyno to simply slot in Columbina (and Ineffa as well if Ascendant Gleam is required) to have Lunar-Charged for these boss mechanics. And it's actually still good, since Lunar-Charged does solid damage, and counts to the Stellar-Conduct stacks, meaning you'll still max the stacks out here. Furthermore, if Vodyanitsa ends up being a good Hydro support, he could use her plus Ineffa, instead of Columbina. Perhaps that could be even stronger. But this synergy also means he should be able to deal with bosses that require Hydro.
Nightsoul Bosses: Due to the above interaction between Lunar-Charged and Stellar-Conduct, by using Columbina (or Vodyanitsa if she ends up being good) we can just slot Ororon in, and he is one of the most efficient characters are dishing out a ton of Nightsoul hits. Ororon can also use Elegy for further support, if you have it.
Dendro: Although there's not really any Stygian bosses right now that shill Dendro, there very easily could be in the future (especially if/when we get Rimegrass). Similar to with Lunar-Charged, Quicken and Stellar-Conduct can also co-exist due to how the auras work, and it's also surprisingly solid, with Cyno getting Aggravates with full quicken uptime, to go alongside his Stellar-Conduct damage. If/when we do get Rimegrass and probably a better support for it than Nahida (or maybe even a Nahida buff), there's a non zero possibility this ends up being his best team, or close to it. And being able to use Dendro can also be great for a lot of different Elemental Shields.
Pyro: If facing a boss that requires a lot of Pyro, such as the Lava Dragon, Bennett can apply a bunch by just on fielding him and spamming his E and Normal Attacks during the Shield phase, and then provide Cyno a strong Attack buff after (Nicole can prob also do this but idk how much worse she would be at getting through the phases).
Anemo: Apparently (not 100% sure though), in Stellar-teams, you can have both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl fields present at the same time, and what happens is, characters that can deal damage of both reactions (like Odette), will prioritize Stellar-Conduct. So, we could just slap in an Anemo unit like Sucrose in the 4th slot to deal with anything that requires Anemo, and it shouldn't interfere with Stellar-Conduct at all.
Geo: While there is no direct synergy with Geo here, there's no anti-synergy, so there's nothing stopping him from just flexing in someone like Zhongli if Geo is needed. With Cyno's high DPS, it should be brute forceable.
So, tl;dr: Cyno should be able to deal with the mechanics from all three most recent regions (Stellar, Lunar, Nightsoul), while having Electro, Cryo, and being able to flex his team around to cover Hydro, Dendro, Anemo, or even Pyro and Geo as well. Plus, his DPS can just get so high now, that he might even be able to just brute force some bosses regardless (like we've seen Skirk do).
With all of that in mind, it seems like he should be very future proof, almost certainly able to deal with at least 1 boss every Stygian cycle.
(Note: For any calc with C6 Alyosha, just lower the DPS by ~20% to know what it would be with C2 Alyosha instead. For any team with C6 Alyosha and no Yae Miko, she would calc higher than him. Numbers are also calced at my standard, not KQMC. Standard explained in the last image.)
