Guess I was wrong. I haven't heard this much shooting even when I was living in downtown close to the hood.

This is my first holiday in Cypress (which I moved to for safety of my family).

Guess there's no running from the gunfire in this metro area then. Is it always this bad?

Are there any jobs in the cypress area that are not food service related? I have over a year of experience from my current food service job. Looking for a part-time job as I’m almost done with my associates and something that pays at least $14+ an hour. Before anyone says HEB, Walmart or Target, believe me I’ve applied. Any helpful tips is greatly appreciated.

My family and I are thinking about moving from South Florida to the Katy/Cypress area, and I’m a newer RN with about 6 months of PCU/tele experience. I’m a little nervous about starting over and was wondering how difficult it is to get hired as an RN. Is the job market pretty good? What’s kind of pay can I expect with my experience? Looking for recommendations for an exceptional housekeeper or small cleaning company in the Cypress area.

This is for my a residential home (about 2,600 sq. ft., 4 bed, 2.5 bath, two toddlers, one friendly dog), and we’re looking for a recurring cleaner.

Our priorities:
-Outstanding quality and attention to detail
-Reliability and consistency (ideally the same person/team each visit)
-A company that treats and compensates its employees well, or an independent owner-operator
-comfort using non-toxic/green cleaning products (homeowner or cleaner provided)

We’re looking for someone people have trusted for years.

My garage door has gotten noticeably louder over the last couple of weeks, and now it feels like it's struggling every time it opens. I'm hoping it's something that can be repaired before it turns into a bigger problem.

I've been looking at a few local companies and Elite Garage Door Expert is one that came up during my search but I don't have any experience with them.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who's had garage door work done recently. I'm not looking for the cheapest quote, just someone who's honest and does good work.

If anyone has had a positive experience in getting a new roof in the Cypress/Fairfield area, please recommend company and also if anyone had a bad experience I would like to know that too.

I drove there the other day with the intent to bring my laptop and study, realizing that this may not be that type of coffee shop. The line was crazy, so I got Sweetgreen and left. lol

What's the vibe like in there. Was the coffee good? I actually like non-sweet coffee, not that I frown upon a good Frap or latte though.
