I feel like I’m dumb but I don’t see anything in his kit that causes this. He covered changed and I saw this on my Brolys health. Happened again when he tried cover changing furling Z Brolys combo. I never see happen when I cover change.(Circled in blue in case you wondering what I’m talking about)
This Gohan unit in particular is about to turned almost 7 months from now since his released. During those 7 months he was nothing but an unstoppable monster, even when the Devs released two LRs to counter him, he was a step ahead of them in every way. Now with a competent team, he is back once more. Sure there was a grace period where he wasn’t used that much, every now and then, you will face him and get utter dog stomp. LR Rose hindered him a bit, LR Broly wiped him off and now LR Broly is gone due to G/T and Z7 Revhan.
You cannot disrupt this unit in any way, he has a constant way to force draw a card a nullification of abnormal conditions. The amount of card he has drawn goes against what the Devs talked about this whole philosophy change. This Gohan has survived and is still thriving to this day! He has a better kit than Shallet, the poster boy of this game. And with the recent Zenkai of Revhan, he is if not one of the best Zenkais compared to any Zenkais of this year. All because he is a Gohan unit, that favoritism saved him from getting a bum Zenkai such as LF Goku/Bardock. Revhan outright is able to one shot LF TGB who recently got a plat. Gaining type neutral on his blue card while facing a PO unit.
Yes his damage is a bit worse, yet that doesn’t completely stop him. Stacking damage and being supported by other units just completely reverses that all together. His blue card still hits so hard to this day. Him being feature boost will not affect whatsoever, he has two of the greatest purples units to back him. His main ability is powerful alone, he can bypass card destruction and ki lose.
Thats just his base, when he revives it is a different story. Taking away vanish if you are the enemy with one unit, stupid AOE green card, and ridiculous damage. I do not think this unit is going to go way, I’ll say his kit far surpasses those of the Anni units. A fucking Fest unit from last year outclasses this year’s units is absurd. I can say he is arguably Top 1, or competing for that Top 1 spot with G/T. He outlasted UMV, UL Nameku, and LF FSK Z7 (ironic).
Its been a few weeks since our boy Shallot's starter Got buff. And while I think its good and makes him more viable. I think there are more ways the devs could give more ways to provide him more synergy with the other characters.
The best way in my opinion would be to give him more outfits or make all other outfits give him a way to access equipment and Tags (Except Uniques and Plats of course).

Additionally, the items he equips will be giving him tags as well. But no equips

I also decided to give some items to gives stat buffs as well
Turtle Hermit Shell= Damage Guard 20%. Resets on Standby
Activates Once:
When health is below 50. Damage Guard 100% for 5 timer counts (Activates 3 times). Additionally gives enemy Paralysis (Uncancellable) for 15 timer counts
Yamcha’s Bat= Strike attack 30%.
Power Pole:
Provides 10% on all stats (Cannot be cancelled)

Managed to salvage a decent chunk as a f2p player, still got the new raid for that cc aswell. I hope they genuinely do something unpredictable for part 3 units, everyone is suspecting MUI Goku or Spirit Bomb, but I'm hoping for some SSJ3 recognition somewhere 🙏🏻 (Or Ultra/Legend SSJ4 Daimaku)
