



It always made me sad that awoken skills in xenoverse have... Kinda low stats, overall. Like, come on, Beast is a 35% increase??
I'd like them to make them much more impactful overall, AND find a way for races with less forms to keep up (because otherwise ouch). I mean, let's take the popular Dragon Block C Mod for Minecraft:
Base SSJ1 is a x1.3 increase in all stats, and SSB is a x3. Something like this would be much, much more welcome in my opinion that barely hitting a x1.4 in your... Most powerful forms.
Like come on SSJ1 giving you a +1% Speed is an insult lmao, gimme some real buffs!

So I was rewatching the gameplay we got to see what other mechanics are getting ported over and I noticed that 1 bar of stamina gets used when vanishing.

With stamina being the core resource, and taking damage also depleting it, how do you feel about vanishing taking a bar?

I thought looong about this and I have a cool line-up, concidering the new ganeplay changes! I would like to pump up the already existing races to have 5 awokens total and the new possible races to only have 3, but 3 REALLY good ones. This is my in depth explainations

Majin:
Already existing:
Purrification (just make it more unique. Different hair and you can keep your upper clothes. Plus they can make a seeable difference between Males and Females)
This is rather easy. Make it function like SSJ 3. Tankier and give it a big strike attack focus. And maybe a moveset change, like change the throw to the one from Duu's. Downside? Either make the regeneration of your Attacks or the Ki Meter slower or (sadly) I can see this being an Awoken with the Time Limit
You get tall and buff. And despite buffing you all around, I'd give it a big defense focus, since majin's already focus on that and Super Buu is the Buu, that definitly tanked the most
Disgustingly thin and you get gray skin (maybe females can look like Evil Android 21 was?). I would make this boost smth not many Majin's form do, which is Ki-Blast attack and Speed. Boosting the stuff majin's are usually not good at
Despite being the hardest to programm, man this would be cool. Give us after absorbing the enemy, you get their top-clothing and for buffs? You get buffs in the area's where your opponent has the most points. Like if they have a Ki-Blast build and much focus there, you ger more in Ki-Blast attack and so on. And I would have this be an awoken that alwqys Hits. Like the animations are in Sparking Zero. Not an attack you'd have to hit.
Saiyan:
Here I want to say: I would rather focus on building up in already existing ones, than adding 1000 forms. I'd just add 3 completly new ones and just add to already existing awokens
Already existing:
SSJ: would actually keep it the way it is. Maybe just with slower regenaration for you Attacks
Super Vegeta: here I would add Ultra Vegeta for the 3rd stage. It boosts ranged really good, but is not as tanky as SSJ 3. I am only doing this slight de-buff, so SSJ would be more used, since blast will always be more popular than strike, so I do not want to make Super Vegeta look too appealing
Future Super Saiyan: I hope they'll keep it, since stamina is now gone. But now, I think it should Focus on rather speed or Regeneration of your attacks. I would like to add Super Saiyan Rage as Future Super Saiyan 2. So my idea here would be it either puts you in a Rage, where your speed takes over since you're rushing in or your Power is quicker to regenerate (like Future was regeneration for Stamina in XV2)
Super Saiyan God: Keep it as it is. Already the most based awoken
My ideas for Blue is to split it up like SSJ and Super Vegeta, where one boosts Strike immensly and the other Blast. In general, I would make Blue make your Regeneration of your Attacks slower, for the exchange of them making way more damage. The next steps then make those even slower, but the damage of their respective field would do insane damage:
Super Saiyan Blue -> Super Saiyan Blue 20× Kaioken: this one is the strike form. The blue kaioken already is in XV2, so why not add completly here?
Super Saiyan Blue -> Super Saiyan Blue Evolution: this one is the blast focused one
Onto the new stuff:
This is just the Giant transformation for Saiyans. Changes your gameplay to the one of a giant with slight boosts. It could possibly go into Golden Great Ape, which just gives you solid boosts in this state
This is the thing EVERYBODY wants. Me too! I would make this be the tanky transformation. You'd be able to just swallow any damage, while also giving you in general slight-to-good boosts. I think, when it comes to implimenting it story wise, the Daima version would be better/easier. Plus i like the Daima design more. But I'll be glad with ANY version
Easy. Slight boosts, but since it does really have health boosts and Zamasu ofc having Regeneration, it could be the health awoken for Saiyans! Like next to really solid boosts, you get a health Regeneration simular to Namekians. Then also moveset change and it boosts Ki-blade moves specificly more. And even story wise, i think it'l be easy to put in. Like greating a story to get Divine Energy or just train under Zamasu or Black.
(Many want this, I am not a fan of this. Since it REALLY screams "LOOK AT MY COOL OC!" But I'l be saying it anyways for the possibility.)
4./5. Wrathful Super Saiyan -> Legendary Super Saiyan/Legendary Super Saiyan -> Super Saiyan Berserk:
No difference between these 2, just design wise and for what gender. Either a big damage Boost or you'd get stronger the longer the battle goes on, BUT you need to empty your Ki (like the Super-Attacks) or you'll overload and take passive damage
Earthlings:
Already Existing:
Power-Pole-Pro (just buff this shi. Make the damage you do way higher, more variety in move set, give Super-Attack moves to it, make it faster, make it not so easy to loose and let us use the dodge ability to cancle out of animations. Then it'll be a cool awoken to use)
This will boost what Humans are already good at. Ki-regenerations. Your Ki/Defense Meter will rise quicker and your supers will load quicker. Else it'll be a really solid boost all around. And maybe, funny idea, charged ki-blasts could be Mini-Kamehameha's
It will give you the Ki-Enhancing Saiyaman Suit from Hero, plus it's sword, which will change your moveset and basic ki blasts to sword slash's. Humans are the tech-heacy race and many have a Superhero complex. Plus, the Earthling CAC from XV2 already was the next Saiyaman and we earthlings had a big Superhero focus. With Bulma there, she could make the suit. It will Boost you slightly all around, but with a big focus on Blast Attacks
Tien's four arms form. Here, I'd do it the way, that the CAC will pull their top clothes off (females ofc with the bandage top still on), so the arms have room to grow. This one will change your moveset, give you a new combo string and this will be the SSJ god for earthlings. BIG on basic attacks and grabs, not much on supers or other stats.
This would be a great way to impliment the Beastfolk of Dragon Ball, many want to see. Most of them were on earth and we have Were-People all around. You can choose from Wolf, Tiger and Bear. Would make it how the Were-Human in Classic DB worked, where in his Wolf form, he was way stringer and faster. So strike and speed focus
Namekians:
Already existing:
Giant: Here I'd add the Orange Giant to. Giant would give you the Giant gameplay, Orange will boost you with that too.
Power Awakening would be the Potential Unleashed for Namekians. Really good boosts all around, plus better health regen. But for Orange? It is your decision to either keep the all-arounder or be better at some things, while worse at other. Orange will make ypu slower and slow down your health-regeneration and lower the buffs for Strike and Blast attacks from Power Awakening. But for buffs? You'll be EXTREMELY tanky and your basic attacks will go through the roof!
A Namekian NPC has to bite the dust for this one 💔. Many games treat this like a transformation, so why not here too? Good all-around boosts, but it REALLY helps ypur health regeneration. So you'd either need to strike them down with one big blast or a long combo
This has to return. Not just because the Online inspiration is back, but Neva (kinda) used this too. This will not work with any ability of the race, but will work like in the Online Trailer! And that is really boosting Strike and Blast attacks, but nothing else in Return
You can get different skin, face and will get wings! Like the Demon-Clan from King Piccolo! Namekians already had a big conflict with their inner darkness already in Online, so making an awoken where you'd master it will be cool! I'll make it the way, that this is the speed awoken, since your wings will assist your movement. And a good basic attack boosts, since Piccolo's children were all basic fighters.
Frieza-Race:
Already existing:
Turn Golden (keep it. Just make the ki-blast damage maybe a bit higher and make the basic-ki attacks tracking)
Since the Trailer Showef it's Frieza Member to be in the first form, I'l thinn they'll change the costumization a bit to fit this, so that you can have all the forms! Maybe you can costumize how they'll look too. And it is really easy too! Second form would be for Strike damage, third for Ki-Blast damage and Final for basic and speed. All the new ones will keeo the boost of the previous ones ofc
You'l look Cooler like, but still be able to costumize that. But gameplay wise, I'd make it like Frieza's 100%. Make you slower (which takes away your race specific ability) and slow down the regeneration of the Attacks. But for that, your Blast and Strike attacks will be insane in damage
This will change your basic ki-blasts to the Green ones from cooler. And next to otherwise good boosts, it'll give you higher defense and give you namekian-like regeneration
We will not see this for a long time. And we don't know what it does yet. But I can make gameplay from what we already saw. No Strike or Blast boosts, but REALLY good Basic and Speed! Like it puts the things the race is already good at, at it's peak!
Androids:
(This race will focus on absobtion. The more damage you take, the faster your Attacks will refill)
This is Android 17's "Super Android" Mode. Next to better health, it will focus on Blast Attacks
Android 13's "Super Android" Mode. Next to better defense, it will focus on Strike Attacks
I have the idea, that for Males, you'll turn Perfect Cell like and for Females, you'll turn Android 21 like.
And else? Would be a really solid all-around boost, but will give you absorbtion! Instead of Blocking, you'll absorb damage. It will make your Ki/Guard Meter go down faster, but if you absorb damage, you'll Deal more out.
Demons:
(This race will focus on doing weird stuff. Like many uniques Super attacks, that are race exclusiv and even weird abilities)
You'll just randomly get or find a third eye within the story and if you'd use it, you get really tall and buff! You Basic Ki-Blasts will change to the ones from Doma and charged ones will be eye-beems. You'll get good buffs all-around, but most likely be really tanky! Then you can even go giant wuth giant gameplay ofc
Bojack's form. Here you'll turn buffer and your hair and skin will turn lighter. This one actually doesn't care for a race specific thing, in return of being a REALLY good all around boost
(I wanted to stay away from Heros, but this is one thing I see colliding, especially since it is towa)
Just get an dark aura and facial tattoo/markings. This one will boost your magical or "Other" Super Skills, while also giving good Blast and Strike Boosts, but lower your defense

"Hi everyone, I’ve been a massive fan of the Xenoverse series since the beginning, and I’m incredibly excited about Xenoverse 3. I wanted to share a constructive suggestion regarding the new 'Soul Sync' transformation mechanic.
Currently, when we activate the Soul Sync, our CaC (Custom Character) is replaced by the Master. While the power boost is great, many players feel that this removes the identity we built for our custom characters. We spend a lot of time customizing our CaCs, and losing them during the most important part of the fight feels like a disconnect.
My Suggestion:
Instead of replacing the CaC with the Master’s model, what if the CaC remained on screen, but with a unique 'Soul Aura' and a spectral silhouette of the Master behind them?
Inspired by the Lore: Think of the iconic Gohan and Goku moment against Cell—that feeling of the Master's spirit guiding the student. To visualize this, I am referring to the classic 'Father-Son Kamehameha' moment (as shown in the attached reference images). I believe that if the game could replicate this 'Spirit Projection' effect—where the Master’s silhouette appears behind the CaC during the Soul Sync—it would be a massive upgrade in terms of visual storytelling and player satisfaction.
The Mechanic: When activated, the CaC remains as the active model, but is enveloped by the Master's aura, and a spectral projection of the Master appears right behind them.
Gameplay Impact: The moveset and abilities would still change to the Master’s, but we would be performing those iconic moves as our CaC, with the Master’s spirit supporting us.
This would keep the player’s personal creation at the center of the screen while honoring the Master’s legacy visually. It feels much more immersive and respects the effort we put into our character builds.
I really hope the developers consider this direction, as I believe it would make the 'Soul Sync' feel like an evolution of our character rather than a substitution. Thanks for reading!"

"don't use it if you want to". The soul change mechanic. Bro isn't this just devs being lazy so they don't have to come up with creative transformations for races that do not have many of them? Also, there's a TIMER on transformations?? I waited 10 years for my cac to be transformed just for 30 secs? Are u serious??
If I'm correct, last time they did this with xv1 and removed it in xv2 and EVERYONE was happy it was removed. Why do this to us?

I think the reason why people like xv2 is because we could experiment and try different gimmicks of different moves. The demo they just showed doesn't capture any of that and straight up aming to be a MMO.
No.. i won't pretend I like the gameplay.. with all these changes they have implemented.. I don't like how they are trying to make it Breakers 2.
I havent played much of xv1 (bought it after playing xv2) so idk how forms like super saiyan, potential unleashed, etc are unlocked, but xv2 transformation unlocks kinda suck. I really hope they add more interesting ways of unlocking transformations. I felt a bit underwhelmed when i found out how to unlock super saiyan. I also think it would be kinda sick if they added a transformation mastery system to be more in line with an rpg style (obviously just set mastery to 100 in ranked/with limitations matches) maybe once you get full mastery of ss1, youll unlock ss2 under the same skill or smth

In the trailer, after the bit showcasing Soul switch, Vegeta transforms back into John 1000, who then does a dash and uses a Galick Gun and then he tranforms into Super Saiyan.

been loving the discussion and divisive opinions on this game tbh so i kinda just wanted to give my final thoughts on how i envision xenoverse 3 turning out. imma be honest, when i first saw the gameplay showcase i was very disappointed and confused like i’m sure a lot of people are/were and ive been thinking about it over and over in my head ever since the videos came out
but i’ve had time to digest and i think xenoverse 3 will actually turn out to be a good game in the end. firstly i just wanna say, they really threw us in the deep end by giving us absolutely zero context as to what was going on LMFAO the first proper gameplay showcase really didn’t tell us anything about the new mechanics or changes like sparking zero did (say what you want about that game, but the promotion and gameplay explanations were absolutely perfect) so it really is hard to tell what the game is actually going to be like. we need some kind of tutorial or 1v1 match to truly understand how this game will play.
secondly, this game has been in development for fucking ages dawg. for context, the first Xenoverse game had a development time of about 2 and a half years, with Xenoverse 2 only having about 1 and a half years of development time. overall for XV1 & 2 combined, that’s 4 years of development time for both. XV3 has had a development time of about 7 years! maybe 8 years by the time the game comes out. so it’s safe to say they have had a really long time to think about how this game is gonna work. and considering how amazing Xenoverse 2 is as a game, i think it’s hard for them to go backwards after receiving so much feedback about the first 2 games.
do i think the game will be perfect? of course not. no game can be perfect. but i still think this will be the best selling and most hype dragon ball game of all time, regardless if you like Xenoverse or not. if you wish to comment, let’s behave and have an actual discussion on why you might agree or disagree
Does anyone else think it might lean more toward an MMORPG game that focuses on the co-op PvE, raids, boss battle focused fights, open-world exploration, and more strategic combat? (like battle of z & kakarot with xenoverse elements in a sense) Or do you think it’ll still feel like a traditional Xenoverse game but this time dimps and bandai are just being innovative and are giving us change?

Dbx was never a fighting game. It was a simple rpg that the community turned into a real fighting game. Nut at its core its always been an rpg. With xenover3 they are fully leaning into rpg. I ve always wanted to be my own character in Db world and now we finally can. I am so excited. Not a huge fan of cooldowns but i am still willing to give it a try.
XV2 looks like total garbage compared to XV3
