In dbxv2 you have 8 possible race/gender options between male and female majin, saiyan, and human, and the frieza and namekian races. You also get 8 characters slots. I love having this variation and having one of each character on my account. They all have different basic attacks and base stats and making builds for each one that feels different from the other characters made that game so much fun. I’m going to be forever disappointed if I have to pick and chose between races in dbxv3 because they didn’t give us enough slots to have one of each.

majins need way more love in xenoverse honestly

my ideas for how they should improve them:

1. let us actually customize body type from the start. skinny, buff, short, tall, whatever. majins being locked into fat tank or skinny female is lame when the whole point of majins is that their bodies are supposed to be super flexible
2. rework purification completely, or at least let us customize it like mentor presets. turning into a mini kid buu clone sucks and completely kills your cac identity. if i make my own character i want to actually keep looking like my character
3. add absorption. this should be both a transformation and an attack. if used on a low health enemy it should insta kill them and they can’t be revived until the majin dies. it gives you a stat boost based on who you absorbed, and visually your majin stays mostly the same but takes on clothing/chest traits from the absorbed character
4. if earthlings get tien’s four arm technique then majins should too. it fits them way better anyway
5. give majins an original transformation that isn’t just copying another character/form. something made specifically for majin cacs that actually expands on their race
6. remove gender-specific race bonuses or at least let us choose. if i want a female majin to be a tank let me. if i want a male majin to be a striker with quick stamina recovery let me. i know some people wouldn’t like that but i think it’s healthier for the game overall and gives way more freedom for character creation

majins have some of the coolest potential in dragon ball but xenoverse keeps doing the bare minimum with them

in all honesty i could rant and brainstorm all day but i wanna know what would you guys personally want for this sad race

edit: also want the little steam whistle implemented into our charging it was such a nice detail in the older games

My measly 1 like and dookie attempt at making a comic with zero motion to back me in 2023 ☠️.

As soon as I got locked in and had some fire panels for chapter 2, my tablet broke and I haven’t drawn since 😮‍💨. I guess I’ll be making these characters to the best of my capability when Xeno 3 drops!

Obviously i should add i don't expect all of this, if even most of this to make it into the game, though it would be really cool to see.

I did merge the Saiyan and Human races because honestly they're exactly the same visually in XV2, except Humans have much less to offer in terms of gameplay. Considering this is Age 1000 and Saiyans have likely been procreating with humans like Online im sure they will be merged like shown here.

I think it'd be nice if even one of the transformations for each race made it in because Namekians and Majins for example kind of suck in XV2 right now in terms of transformations lol

So basically I'm a new-gen Xenoverse fan and i was wondering. The DBH game was good so what if they expanded on it a bit. I was thinking what if our cacs could be teens like in DBH. They could get special dialogue like "Aren't you a lil young to be fighting/time patrolling" and for other teen characters like Teen Gohan "My dad wants me to fight but my mom wants me to study and i just don't know what to do. Im sure you can relate." or something idk i js made these up. It wouldn't limit anything but change hitboxes and make them like Teen Gohan's and maybe give them different animations. It also wouldn't limit their forms in case we don't get like path forms or something like the guys at the top. And if you have any ideas please share them.

Now that Xenoverse 3 has been officially announced(THANK GOD) what do you guys think they will do about the roaster?

One of the effects of xv2 10 years of service was its very extensive roaster. The game went of so long they started sellling us lesser form version of characters we already head. This has lead to the xv2 roaster becoming absolutely huge.

In my opinion I don’t think xv2 will have DBS super stuff outside of beerus. The reason I’m saying this is because since super is technically getting redone it would make sense to plan dlc releases with th super remake. I’m sure the next DLC would be ROF related since ROF is getting redone as well. I think the roaster will be Just OG DB(King piccolo and piccolo), All of Z, All of GT, Daima, some 13 Dragon ball movies(Slig, turles, cooler, broke, and janemba since there are in the base game roaster). While this sucks if they really go into GT And Daima and give us everything from those anime’s then this could be the supplement for super lacking in the game for the moment. Also even if they these specific arcs they can truly expand of the roaster of these arc. For example we can get final form zarbon, all of bardock crew, paragus, king vegeta, Garlic Jr, evil buu, second from cell, trunks melee, DKP, coolers armored squadrant etc. if you get what I mean. If they do leave our super then no character in these arcs should be left out or not included

I think this is the most likely Senerio as they will probably still adopt the DLC model as a way to bring out content.

But what do you guys think are you guy down for the roaster to be everything BUT super? Or do you guys want dbs in the game. To me I just don’t think it’s realistic since they are redoing everything up until moro

I made a post awhile ago on my thoughts(https://www.reddit.com/r/dbxv/s/EpmFn0Hv26) on the Xenoverse 2 roaster. TLDR I pretty much said I don’t believe super would be in the game since they’re remaking are releasing the arcs. I made this post because I was kind scared for this games dlc life.

Obviously Xenoverse 3 will have an immense amount of content but after maybe 8 month the content will dry up and people will be looking toward the next expansion. I and releasing the DBS character later gives the dev team time tilt flesh out each relevant character in those arcs or movies, i mean I hope we don’t get into the situation where we are asking of base versions of characters in the games .

Expansions do breathe life into a game look a FigherZ for example. And usually in xenoverse games an expansion is just the addition of characters, a few quest, and some story missions usually a compact and small expansion of the game. But if xenoverse 3 is going to include everything go Z, GT, Daima, Super(outside of Moro and granola) what if they Go a Destiny 2 route on how they release expansions but in th Xenoverse lens. Here is what I mean destiny 2 is know from relaxing one big expansion per year that add a lot of content and to play(up until final shape that is) and they don’t really add new characters just guns, subclasses, and new worlds. So in Xenoverse terms this could be a new new hub world area, an dense amount of parrelel quest(20-15), new skills for mentors to teach, new mentors in general, a decently sized expansion story mode, new cac races, and much more. Again I’m not a game dev but this could be route Xenoverse will do down if they don’t want to a character expansion route and instead do a more content expansion route and really flesh out the games mmorpg elements.
