Okay so I was ready exactly at noon, loaded up tix, and paid for them within ten seconds. My transaction didn’t go through because the website problems and the show was immediately sold out at 12:00:10. I’m insanely bummed about this, but I also know there were about 900 people watching on Eventbrite in a few minutes before it went up. Can we put our heads together and make another outdoor watch party happen somewhere??

I’ve been consuming massive quantities of ice cream this summer and I’m starting to get ice creamed out. Nevertheless, my sweet tooth persists and would love recs for any restaurants (any kind) or bakeries with the following desserts:

- Flan
- Tres leches
- Tembleque
- Cheesecake
- Mallorca
- Anything with coconut
- Any amazing non chocolate pastry you’d recommend

I’m also okay if this leads me back to ice cream lol!

It would be great if these were in or near the west end, Georgetown, DuPont circle, Logan circle, or 14th st but as long as it’s transit accessible I’ll figure it out.

I’m not a huge coffee drinker and looking through Instagram and other Reddit threads didn’t turn anything up. They’ll be staying in the West End, so it would be great if it was there or in Georgetown / foggy bottom / DuPont / Logan circle / 14th st but as long as it’s accessible by transit it works.

Hey everyone! first ever post in here. I am new-ish to the DMV. Live in Alexandria and love going to salsa dance around DC. I have very few girlfriends since I moved here and I am looking to make a few more to go out and explore the city, go to events, possibly be my plus one in dating events lol and join in on mutual interests (soccer, salsa, coffee shops, runs, museums, walks, etc..).

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic (25 yrs, Latina girlie over here), looove dogs, soccer, salsa, yapping, coffee shops, good food, and more. Hi bitches! I just did a major closet clean out and have a ton of cute tops, jeans, jackets, and work clothes that I’m looking to sell for good prices. New to DC and needing a hair stylist recommendation. I have let my hair grow out and would like to cut 10-12 inches off to do a hair donation. (Have grown out and cut off to donate about 6 times already, so not emotionally attached to long hair) I have natural fairly straight, fine hair, but a lot of it. I really mean a dense pony tail for how fine the texture is.

Anyone have a personal trainer that they love? Ideally a woman or non-binary person.

My goal is physical competence and longterm health, not looking a certain way.

3 main needs:

• I need getting there to be easy: Columbia Heights, Petworth, Adams Morgan
• I need to not be perceived: 1-on-1 training, ideally not in a crowded gym
• I need someone to be mad at me if I cancel: it has to be impossible to casually cancel through an app with zero accountability; I want the same human individual every time where we're building a rapport, no rotating cast of trainers

My current trainer is great and I like that her gym is always closed/empty for our sessions, but she's a 25+ minute drive each way and has limited schedule availability.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a fun, but not super expensive, off season beach weekend, no further than 2-3 hours from DC. I was thinking Delaware/Rehoboth and we'd focus on the breweries, restaurants, beach, etc. But would love suggestions. Even for places to stay or Airbnbs you'd highly recommend. This would be for early October.

I know it'll be cold but I love the ocean, even when I just get to look at it.
