Rare off topic about content creators
I’m going to out and say it and try to be brief.
Dope As Yola published a blog about a trip to Houston recently that featured him with someone who was drinking lean while fishing with friends next to a dock.
In the clip, around 5:50 in the original footage (in case it gets removed), the person drinking the lean says he wants to pour it in the mouth of a fish they just caught. Then they blur the footage right as they pour the lean into the fishes mouth and unblur shortly after with the fish vomiting/expelling onto a photographer.
I am not trying to drag down someone’s content of their character by other people’s actions but Thomas had a responsibility to his footage and his brand, and he took a route that was irresponsible and morally wrong.
If you want to intentionally harm animals, we probably aren’t gonna be friends.
I’m aware the fish could be kept and would be dead anyway, but there was zero reason to torture an animal on camera and then keep the footage (blurred no less).
It’s just needlessly gross. I don’t pass judgement on people on many things but if you hang out with people who do stupid shit to animals and you don’t do anything, you probably need new friends.
Imma go hug my doggos.
