Following some Jeeps near my local practice spot
Still learning M mode on the Avata 2, getting random chances to try follow stuff, think I'm improving, just need to keep it up now and find more people to chase!

July 4th 2026 run.
Crashed into some amount of fine dust. Took off propellers blew soft cool air into motors but I feel sound is off and drone is wobbly.
Footage is isolated indoor 1.3 meter height. Is this normal wobble or am I being paranoid. Can’t decide outdoors because it is quite windy. Thanks in advance.
yes this is full manual, cam angle is 3 and rates are ... buckle up... 220 940 0.1 all.. dont ask me why its just what im used too for slow flying
As in the title. For the second time now, not in a row, I pressed the pause button while flying the drone at slow speed to stabilise it while I was adjusting video settings etc, and the drone completely lost balance and zoomed at full speed in a random direction and crashed.
It's like it believes it's oriented differently than it is.
Anyone familiar with the issue? It's not happening every time, but yesterday it almost zoomed into water because of it. Pretty crappy.
I just got my avata 2 and I really need help with the range. I barely get 150 meters without the rc and hd signal dropping and going red, and starting to lose visibility. I’d appreciate any help as I am a noob to be honest.
Hey guys, I am noticing that my avata 2 drops signal even when there is a single tree between me and the drone. At first I thought it was normal. Even after FCC unlock. However, one thing I have noticed is that flying in different countries, the signal seems to be a lot better.
Is it really just that NL has so much more background noise that disturbs the signal? If so, what freq/channel works best to fix this? So far my experiments have been without much improvement.
I am seeing cool drone video’s online of people flying behind objects in old factories (with a custom fpv drone) which seem impossible with the avata2. Wondering if it is the drone itself, the background “noise” or a bad setting.
Would appreciate some information on this topic, as soon far i haven’t been able to find good information on this online.
Thanks!
Anybody ever alter their FPV Goggles to upgrade to a different/more absorbent sweatband? The weird latest inner lining feels like it makes my eyes and cheeks sweat more, even in cooler outdoor temperatures. Just wondering if anybody had experience with any alternatives.
I was practicing Manual mode for the second time today. I have 20+ hours in the simulator. While practicing flicks, I hit the ground but recovered. A few seconds later, I switched from Manual to Sport mode using the rocker switch on the RC 3. As soon as I switched modes, the drone stopped responding the way I expected and shot forward into a building. I wasn't able to regain control before impact. The drone is now damaged and unable to fly.
Has anyone experienced this when switching from Manual to Sport mode? Could the earlier ground strike have caused an issue, or is there something about the mode transition I should be aware of? Does this sound like pilot error, wind, or a possible fault with the drone? Any advice would be appreciated.
Hey everyone just got my Avata 2 excited to join the community here! (Wipe out is at the end)
I am getting about 38MB/s when connected with a USB-C cable transferring internal storage. I was hoping this would be faster, even UHS-I is 90MB/s transfer...
I've tried a few different cables so I don't know what's going on. I also tried a couple USB ports on my PC but they are SS20 so that shouldn't be an issue.
What speeds do you get?
