The desk where I rot all day
When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming an electronic music producer. Life had other plans, but I still built myself a setup I genuinely enjoy.
Current setup:
- Monitor: Gigabyte M27Q
- PC: Ryzen 7 5800X
- Audio interfaces: EVO 4 & Native Instruments Komplete Audio 2
- Mouse: Logitech G Pro X Superlight
- Keyboard: Razer Huntsman Mini Analog
- Speakers: KRK Rokit 8 G4 + KRK 12" subwoofer
- Laptop: MacBook Air M1
- Tablet: iPad Air M3
- Headphones:
- Pioneer HDJ-2000 (DJ)
- HyperX Cloud III (gaming)
- DJ controllers:
- Native Instruments Traktor Z1 MK2
- Native Instruments Traktor X1 MK2
- Native Instruments Traktor F1 MK2
- Kill switch: Lead Foot FS-1
- Internet: 1 Gbps fiber
- Charger: Anker Prime GaN
Maybe I never became a producer, but this little corner keeps my love for electronic music alive.
Finally finished 🎉 waiting on my IK Multimedia iLoud Sub then I'm done
Mixing some Vinyl in the new studio setup.
Just put the finishing touches on my Vinyl DJ setup, the rest of my studio is in the works since I moved in my new place.
Cosy wee set up
Seen some brilliant, inventive set ups on here. Hope you enjoy my humble offering!
Since it's the living room I need to share my speakers with my TV set up (not as straightforward as you'd think). I've got a remarkable wee pre-amp thing called an Acrylic bp-50 which gives me a load of options for my powered Adam Audio T7's. Multiple inputs, Bluetooth, EQ all controllable with a remote/app. Never fuck about with cables again! It's crazy convenient and I would recommend it to anyone facing the same issue.
Pictured: Pair of Technics 1210s, DJM-900 Nexus & my trusty old pair of NDX 400s (one not in use currently). Does the job!
Asymetric budget build
Oldtimer wanting to get back in the game(as a hobby). Wanted a clean and tidy desk. Set up for a bit of classic turntable play and more modern remixing. Everything bought used and/or cheap. Built the desk to fit(can post pics of build process if asked). 98% done.
Gear:
-NI Traktor z2 mixer
-Two Numark TT200(20+ years old, bought unused in the box)
-Akai Midimix
-Akai Apc Mini
CDJ1000mk2 DVS & Midi
Finally got my dream setup.
CDJ1000mk2's with a traktor Audio 6 running through a Behringer DDJ4000 on a M-audio midi out mapped to load each deck, sync and master through Traktor. Basically doing everything but Tempo control digitally. Who needs CDJ2000nxs2's anyway. I can scratch and beat match with no effort or latency for a fraction of the price and double the cords.
The only issue I am finding is the Traktor CDs run out of time and sometimes thats stops the set, just gotta see if I can get the CDJs to repeat track 1 over and over to try stop the unsyncronisation in Traktor Pro.
Finally finished my DJ Setup
Studio is finally ready for my next project, which will be 4 hour+ live streams with guest DJ's. Here is a tour of all my gear which has been a labor of love in the making over the past year. Feeling very grateful to be able to get things to this spot so far.

My first setup
Still within my first year of mixing. Rocking the FLX4 with a height adjustable desk. Adjustable desk has been perfect for when I’m feeling like sitting on my exercise ball to keep good posture or standing and dancing.
Kallax and call it a day
Finally bought a Kallax. Goodbye back pain (I’m 5’8). Right monitor also functions as a laptop stand if I want to use Traktor. Lol
Night & Day
Getting back into mixing after a few years hiatus. Loving have serato built into the mixer.
Went looking for CDJ-900s, got 2000nxs instead
Picked up some beaten up 2000nxs and a DJM 750 MK1 for 800 bucks. A steal indeed but a lot of work has to be done with all of them.
