I put out a full sized fully metal bed frame for my recycling day and it hasnt been picked up yet as of 2:38 pm. Everything else has been grabbed. Is a full sized frame too big? Is it possible they may swing by again later today, or should I bring it in, break it down, and try next week?

Even if you don't feel thirsty, stay hydrated. We are seeing temperatures in the triple digits. I don't want to see another message saying one of us suffered a cardiac arrest or had a heat stroke.

Skip the suggary drinks and go for the electrolyte rich drinks instead.

Are they even doing any more supervisor classes this year or there isn’t going to be one no time soon?

Unfortunately/fortunately, however one sees it, the S/W exam will not be offered this FY26-27 cycle. The earliest it may be offered is FY 27-28, which would make sense as the current Exam 2060 expires Feb 2028.

What’s next I emailed them my temp license what’s the next process ? When will I take second drug test ? When is the next class ?

Passed my road test today. How do I amend my license and how do I get my your Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card). I did my medical at the sanitation building already

This Monday morning, Herbert Von King Park was absolutely covered in trash. The mess stretched from the amphitheater area all the way to the playground and BBQ sections on Lafayette Ave.

The video doesn't even do it justice, it was much worse in person. I genuinely felt bad for the park staff who had to deal with it. One of the cleanup crew members, said their entire Monday shift likely wouldn't be enough to finish the job because of how extensive the litter was.

I don't have an issue with people gathering and enjoying the park BUT if you're going to throw a party, please clean up after yourselves.

Can this be brought to the attention of Council Member Chi Ossé? I've seen social media posts encouraging responsible use of the park in other contexts (for example, reminding dog owners to keep dogs out of certain areas, even though most dog owners I see are cleaning up after their pets). Could we have a similar push encouraging partygoers to clean up after themselves? or a broader conversation about how large parties are impacting the park and surrounding community?

Curious if others saw the condition of the park this morning or have noticed this becoming a recurring issue.

Got a final processing email today, on the date of my fp, im gonna be out the country, i tried to contact the person that sent the email, but no response yet. I'm wondering if i should adjust my flight, or will they work with me. Anybody else have a similar experience??
