way before arkie, there was a mod ‘dry cartographer’ who was genuinely just as obsessive or maybe even worse than arkie is on the DDE sub. this was probably a couple years ago. i remember josh making reference to them in a video one time before i stopped watching him. he called her like his ‘beaver’ or something bc she did all the sleuthing on the DD. anyway i wonder what happened to her? maybe dry cartographer is arkie? i know someone on here HAS to know who im referencing.
there was one time one of the DD kids walked into the kitchen while alicia was filming and she remarked about the child only being in their underwear. dry cartographer went onto DDE and made a HUGEEE proclamation about how if you stop the video when that happens, and look in the reflection of the pan alicia was holding up, you could *maybe* see the child in their underwear and went on a whole tangent about it. crazy shit.
i love DD snark but the people on DDE are genuinely so unhinged and need some time away from their phones

He has so much hatred for this woman, I don’t understand it. I’m aware she made a mistake and it caused her child to die, but constantly making videos on her complaining about every single thing she does is just stupid. It’s not going to do anything. I think he needs to stop.

Now I have never liked Perez Hilton, and have watched Josh's videos for a long time. However watching him slate Perez Hilton for making fun of celebrities, I actually see no difference to what he does and that was the wake up call I needed to stop watching his content. I don't understand how he could talk about Hilton when he was literally describing himself

I noticed he seems to get genuinely offended whenever Alicia decorates for St. Patricks Day or Halloween or Christmas early. Does it make him mad that people enjoy holidays? What a miserable soul...

The obsession with wanting Alex to fail is really getting concerning now. You have a gut intuition he's going to end up in prison? Not jail prison? What the actual fuck? You do way too fucking much with Alex, claiming he talks to his siblings nasty and stuff. If you watch those fucking clips, he literally spoke to one of the twins nicely the first time, and when they clearly didn't listen, he got annoyed. You act like your own kids don't talk to each other like that, but they most likely do behind your back. Kids cuss these days like, come on.

You make it seem like he cussed out his siblings, spit in their face, and tore them down, when he was literally just talking the way older siblings usually talk to their younger siblings. He didn't even say anything vulgar or mean; you're doing the absolute most. You hate him so much that you're blowing normal sibling interactions way out of proportion. You are doing the most.

And if that had been Alex playing with stuff in the parking lot, you would have had a field day calling him all types of disgusting names. You and your subreddit would have had a field day if Alex had been doing that. But no because it was fucking James, you don't have much to say. What James did was stupid because he didn't even have the decency to go to a public bathroom or do it at night. In the daytime, in pitch-black brightness? Get the fuck out of here.

You treat Alex like a grown adult, but James is a grown-ass adult, too. You make it seem like James and Alex are so far apart in age, but I believe James's birthday is in January and Alex's is in February. That is an 11- or 12-month age gap it isn't a massive 15-year age gap like you try to make it out to be. Treat them both the same, regardless of who wants a social media presence and who doesn't. Because what James did was fucking weird I don't give a shit, it was fucking weird. Again, if Alex had done that, you would have had a field day with it. Stop the double standards; it's getting really fucking annoying.

You don't want people to accuse James of being a predator or a pervert when what he did was actually perverted, yet you accused Alex of stealing games with zero factual evidence. It's getting really concerning. You want James to come on your show to talk about Alicia, Josh, and all that shit, but your obsession with wanting a 20-year-old man to fail is disturbing. What 20-year-old on social media doesn't think they're hot shit? What 21-year-old doesn't like social media attention? He's 20 fucking years old; he's not 50. You're the one closer to 50 than he is.

Alex sits at home making cringy videos, and somehow he’s getting more hate than the one who was literally caught pleasuring himself in public? Make it make sense, Josh. He thinks James did what he did because of trauma-we don’t know that! If he did, it doesn’t excuse it at all. A child could’ve seen him doing it. It’s gross and nobody should be cutting James any slack in this.

Another thing (sorry for the long rant. I’d rather not make a million posts about one video) why is he so obsessed with the idea of one of these kids coming out and talking about Alicia? It’s creepy! We don’t know that anything bad really happened in the house! Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the early days of DD, wasn’t most of the claims to what Alicia was doing just speculation? Either way, he shouldn’t be this obsessed with young teens wanting to tell their stories.
