Anybody have the entire set list for the Portland show?! God he spoiled us so good 😭

That very first “are you ok” just sounds sooo bad to me and then the rest is amazing. I feel like I’m the only one who can’t stand it I need to know what y’all think

I am a relatively new fan (started right around when Rearrange my World came out, but became a 0.02% listener on Spotify that year), so bear with me if this is completely crazy and I am missing something.

With It’s the Golden Child circulating recently, I’ve been wondering if “Golden Child” could be the concept for Daniel’s next album.

Golden Child has basically followed Daniel for his entire career. Golden Child Recordings is the collective/label he started with Jordan Evans, Matthew Burnett, etc. early in his career, and Freudian and CASE STUDY 01 were released through it.

It first appeared lyrically on Violet in 2014 "Just chill, you're made to sing / On anything, you golden child".

Then on FRONTAL LOBE MUZIK he directly references getting his “Golden Child” thing going with his friends while talking about going from being broke, lonely and picked on to becoming successful.

Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett, the collaborators who were there for that original Golden Child era and even co-wrote/produced Violet, are still heavily involved in Daniel’s music. Both worked on Son of Spergy.

Then we have this unreleased song literally called It’s the Golden Child, with lyrics about people doubting him, doing things other people can't do, and speaking things into existence.

It would make a lot of sense as the next chapter:

Son of Spergy = looking backward at his father, upbringing, faith, and where he came from

Golden Child = looking at the person all of that produced, his success, ego, destiny, expectations, and what it means to actually become the person he believed he could be.

It could also bring his career full circle by taking the Golden Child name that has been attached to him and his team since the beginning and finally making it the actual subject of a project. It would be a big step from Violet when we was destined to be a successful singer. Now, here he is.

Obviously this is very speculative. I don't know when It’s the Golden Child was recorded (correct me if we do know?).

But especially coming right after Son of Spergy and his reunion with the original Golden Child crew, it could be a fun storyline!

Hey guys I got GA tickets , last time I saw him and waited at 10am and was about like 20th in line , I know he’s more popular now , any input on times anyone for there or is planning too ?

Does anybody know what happened at the concert today (Aug 16) in Section 321? A couple got kicked out and a bunch of security guards were there - just curious and hope everybody is okay!!

This was probably the most low budget and low effort Daniel Caesar concert I've been to. The stage production was non-existent and is literally just a guy with a camera on stage. It was such a nauseating experience the fact that this man has no gimbal stabilizers, and before you say artistic choice, you can be artistic without sacrificing the experience. Subtlety in art exists for a reason in that. The Merch? Holy Canva text on t-shirt. I could literally just make this shit at home. It was literally just a giant text on a shirt.

That's not even the worst part of the concert, most of the audience that attended were teenagers with no concert etiquette that are just yelling on the top of their lungs. I can't even hear him sing for the most part. We gotta bring back throwing drinks at these folks because 5 people called them out and they still didn't care and proceeded to keep yelling.

Im a large in hoodies but i usually size up to an xl for an oversized fit. Should I get the xl for the hoodie for an oversized fit, or should I go even higher to a 2xl? I heard some of the merch was sizes down
