Darkstalkers IS NOT dead 💙 *undead edition*

The amount of hype for Darkstalkers this year was insane! Hope to see it continue on the mainstage :) In the mean time, I’m doing my part and took 2nd place in the cosplay contest! I made a lot of structural updates to this cosplay since I last posted this, and I’m so glad that it paid off 💙

Custom Demitri Darkstalkers

Was a rough transition. Js couldn't get the proportions the way I wanted. Finally decided on doing my first blank and though I loved the figure it still wasn't brolic enough . Finally found the perfect blank. I love how the soft good rider boots came out. Took parts from every phase n this is the result. Enjoy my pain. Lol

I really wanna play more Vampire Savior, but

My experience so far trying to get advice on Discord has been met with a bunch of gatekeeping by smug old assholes. Probably not a good attitude to have if you wanna grow your community after its recent visibility on the international stage.

I still fully stand by the opinion that this kind of cel shaded look that Guilty Gear Strive has would be a thousand times better for a new Darkstalkers game than the photorealistic look of games like Street Fighter 6 or Mortal Kombat

The anime artstyle and cartoony, expressive animations that Darkstalkers is known for would translate 1000000% better with that cel shaded look than with the photorealistic one.
