[34] Hispanic male - Placentia - looking for a genuine connection

Hi. I am a 34 male Hispanic looking for a genuine connection. I have tried so many places in person and it seems that everyone likes to club and party. I'm not really into that. I think I'm more old fashioned. I consider myself an old school romantic. I am shy, and kind of quiet so I really like yappers. I like going on drives with music, going to a view, trying out different food places, and other calm activities although I don't mind grabbing a drink here and there with the right person. I like everything Pokemon, playing guitar (I suck at it), and other hobbies. I consider myself nerdy at times. I don't really know what else I can share but if anyone is interested in getting to know each other, please shoot me a dm. I'm not getting any younger and would like to find someone I can talk to, and someone that can talk to me, someone that can reciprocate feelings, someone that is clingy lol, and most of all, just that special someone I can cherish. I want to find the person I can wake up to and kiss on the forehead and hug every morning, or that will text me every day.

Matchmaking Beta Update

The r/DatingOC matchmaking beta form is officially closed.

We ended up with 41 submissions: 23 men and 18 women. Thank you to everyone who filled it out and helped test this first round.

Over the next few days, the mod team will review the submissions, run the scoring script, and manually look over the strongest potential matches. The script does not make final decisions on its own. It helps with compatibility, but mods still check things like age range, distance, dating intent, dealbreakers, and overall fit.

Scores will not be posted, shared, or sent to users. They are only used internally.

A match is also not guaranteed. Some people may not receive a suggestion this round. That does not mean anything is wrong with their submission. It may just mean there was not a strong enough compatible match in this specific pool.

If you receive a match suggestion, you will be contacted privately by the mods with the next step. No one is being publicly paired off, and private submission details will not be shared.

If you selected “Other” as your preferred contact method and did not get a chance to specify what that means, please message modmail before match outreach begins. This is only to clarify how mods should contact you if you receive a match suggestion. It does not mean your contact info will automatically be shared with another user.

Please do not message mods asking for your score, ranking, or whether a specific person submitted. We are not going to share that information.

After this beta, we will review how the process worked and make adjustments before deciding on the next round based on the feedback provided by testers.
