Guy wants 2k
These are rare up here just curious in opinions its 2k or make a offer he cant refuse almost every panal has rust interior is actually good tho
Just bought it for 7k, 29k miles.
The engine doesn't start but zero rust. The engine can easily be fixed.
Anyone used this ?
Currently chasing down a problem and determined it was the distributor but I didn’t feel like paying $180 for the one on zcardepot so I settled w this. If it works then hell yeah but if not I can return it and just buy the more expensive one. Anyone actually used this one from eBay ?
New Audio, Retrosound on the way
Tip: There is such thing as a metric screwdriver.
Just a few pics of the weekend project. Pictures of what is in the car now, and even the original radio that I found. I’ll be doing a Retrosound unit with whatever speakers the Crutchfield guy recommended (pictured). I’m happy with the way the rubber grommets turned out for waterproofing the door.
The speaker holes were already there so I just took the old Jensen speakers out and dropped in the new ones. When I finished install I covered them with the Jensen grill so they at least look like they’re from the early 90’s.
Then I left a note for the next guy. Finished pictures on the way in a week or so.
Just bought sales brochures and ads for the first cars my wife and I owned - 1981 Datsun 200SX and 1979 Datsun B210
Hers (the 200SX) was a high school graduation gift from her grandmother. Mine was the hatchback at the top, but in metallic green. Paid $800 for it in 1988 from my drugstore wages. When it was totaled (by my classmate) a year later, I used the insurance payout to buy the sedan at the bottom, also in metallic green.
Curious if this is a good deal
83’ 280z slick top 5speed w 151K miles. Rust free and complete, owner wants 7k for it. Clean title west coast car. Don’t know too much about the older Z cars but the wife really wants one so curious if this is a good deal or what to look for
Sooo... I built a 240z and sold it, and regret it
Yes, this vehicle is a monstrosity, I hope I don't get too much hate mail, but... (color, engine, etc)
I sold it twenty years ago and want it back. Any ideas on how to track it down?
VIN: hls30147813
Ready For The Cst Show Memorial Weekend!
She is as DOLLED UP as she is going to get (within my budget) this year!
Anyone ever come across one of these old lighters?
My late uncle received this lighter as an employee gift from Datsun Australia when he worked for them back in the 70s.
I've looked pretty hard and can't find any other evidence of one existing.
It's made by Penguin but is a copy of the expensive DuPont Windsor.
I'm guessing it's kinda rare. I can't see a single other example of Penguin even making that model of lighter.
I reckon maybe Datsun spoke with Penguin who are also Japanese and got them to produce a few of these in the classic DuPont style for a select few employees 🤷♂️
New to me
Randomly was talking to my wife grandfather about how I’ve been wanting an “old” mini truck to mess around with and possibly restore. He said “I might have what you’re looking for” it’s just sitting in the yard and you can have it for FREE as long as it stays in the family.
I believe it’s a 1979/80 Datsun pickup, unsure what model.
He said it’s been sitting since the 90s.
Injector leak what’s next?
75 280 leaking fuel car runs rich what’s the best way of dealing with this?
Is this worth it?
I assume it says 370 z because of facebook but what do you guys think? Good value?
