Anyone ever taken this exam or math exams at dawson? WILL I BE TOLD I CANT TAKE THE EXAM OR SMT???

so like i know theres a maintain average policy for conditional acceptances. My math grade has dropped from 70 to 61, (only my math grade) other than that my other prerequisites stayed the same.
am i cooked? im supposed to go to general studies…

Hi, I'm actually in sec 5 and I got accepted to Dawson in Art Cinema. I confirmed my place, created my omnivox and paid the fees. This is gonna sound dumb but do I have to do anything else ? All my friends that goes in other cegep have already chose their courses, and I'm really afraid to miss something and to fck up my place in Dawson. So am I missing anything ? (Sorry if my english sucks it's my secondary language)

So rn I take both chemistry and physics, and after finishing my application, I just can't bring myself to do that shit anymore so my grades had gone down.
My overall average before was around 89%, and by the end of the year it's going to be around 80% (worst case scenario)

So I just wanted to hear more opinions cause everyone I have asked either tells me that since it's a portfolio program, they don't care that much about the grades as long as I don't fail
But others tell me that cause it's Dawson, there is like a higher chance of my attendance getting cancelled if my grades go down this much

I’m wondering whether I’m allowed to use my ipad to take notes in class next fall or is it only notebooks?

I’m currently in General Social Science at Dawson College and I’m trying to get into Commerce, so I need to complete the math prerequisites. Right now I’m taking the Remedial Secondary IV Math course during Summer 2026, and my plan is to take Secondary V Math in Fall 2026 afterward. My concern is about timing. Dawson told me they can’t pre-approve me for Sec 5 math before my summer Sec 4 final grade is officially posted. From what I understand, summer grades probably come out around August 7–11, but Fall 2026 online registration ends August 19 and classes start August 20. Has anyone else been in this situation before? Were you still able to get into Sec 5 math after your summer prerequisite grade was posted, or did sections end up filling? I’m worried there won’t be space left by the time my prerequisite clears.

Hi i have a french intensive starting soon and i just realized that I wont be able to make it to one of the days as i have a training for a job. What do i do? Do i fail if i miss a class?

For people who have really high r scores, genuinely how do you guys do it lol😭 like I know you can get a 40+ r score in a science course, but how do people have overall 39 r scores how do you guys study...
