I’m pretty new to the game compared to some of yall (just started around Memorial Day) but I’ve logged a lot of hours and am getting peer comfortable with it. I’ve played it as a sort of apocalyptic homestead simulator. It’s kinda been my coping mechanism for this fuckin autoimmune disease ruining my ability to work like I used to… anyways “I’ve grown tired of traveling alone”. I am on CST from 11 into… well the fuckin morning because idk what the fucks goin on with my life anymore 🤣 it would be nice to get to socialize again.
Ps I’m not a sweat or a try hard if that’s bothersome to ya then you have fun playing your way and I’ll have fun playing like a tired ol dad.
I’ve searched both contaminated zone multiple times haven’t seen one but have found everything else.
I suck at PVP in this game, the lack of auto aim is brutal. I have thousands of hours in COD and other FPS games with auto aim that are working against me.
What can I do to fix this (apart from get more PVP experience, such as play PVP servers). Should I turn off aim assist since it works on infecte only and that will help me learn faster? Should I dial down the joystick sensitivity? To what? Any tips? I'm thinking moving around more to move the cursor rather than move the cursor since it is a slower movement... Any tips are appreciated.

First time seeing the red flare before gas strike. Never seen it before until now. Honestly didn't know it was a thing. I thought it was from a flare gun. I only thought the audio cue was the only warning. Now I know

Just had to share this. I have a few hundred hours and realized I had never done a gas zone run. Spent the last few weeks finding my NBC suit and gathering filters. Nearing the end of my gas run I was thinking man there is nothing here and had only found 2 LAR mags. I had saved the hospital for last and man oh man did I hit the jackpot. M4 on the main floor and I got so excited. Ran to the roof to clean up my new prize and what do I find!?!? 2 LARs side by side on the top roof, a VSD right outside the door, and finally an AUR AX on the far end of the roof. Truly cannot believe this luck. Cannot wait to lose it all to the guy camping the gas outskirts. Best of luck out there yall.
Lately while I'm playing (Series X) the entire map will look monochrome or just blocky and take a while to load as if I just loaded into the server only it'll do this the entire time I play. It's off and on with it too it'll be fine for 20 minutes and then randomly be super bad again for a long time and then back to normal for just a little. Any known causes or fixes?
