A project I worked on a while back that I never got to finish.

Somehow, I misplaced the original files and completely lost track of the character model I used to create her. I’ve tried going back through old installs and archives, but no luck. At this point, I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be able to recreate her properly.

It’s strange getting attached to something that technically never even became “complete,” but this character always stood out to me for some reason. Maybe because she felt more human unfinished than most of my polished renders ever did.

So I guess she’ll always just be: “The Incomplete Chloe.”

Recently I purchased Turbo Loader for Genesis 9 (https://www.daz3d.com/turbo-loader-for-genesis-9) with the intent of improving the time it takes to load new figures into a scene. Not only did I not see a difference in load time, but Turbo Loader broke my most-used character.

I have him saved as a scene subset, and when I load him into a new scene, everything is fine. But when I try to load any of my old scenes that contain that character, his main morph is disabled.

I have tried everything I can to reset things to the way they were before I installed Turbo Loader, but no matter what I do, the character morph will not load correctly on existing scenes. Since this is my most-used character, this issue has effectively broken 1000+ scenes (no, that is not an exaggeration).

Sure, I could load him back into every individual scene, but that would take nearly 200 hours of work (10 minutes to fix each scene times about 1100 scenes). Has anyone run into an issue like this? If so, how do I fix it? I've had a support ticket open and unanswered for several days, and I'm tearing my hair out trying to get this resolved.

I have tried resetting the content database, reinstalling the affected morph, re-importing metadata, and using the "Reset Content Directories" + "Reset Morph Directories" in Turbo Loader Manager. (I have also restarted Daz after each fix and tested scenes to see if the issue was resolved) Nothing worked.

I combed through my log files, and I did find this error mentioning the broken morph (it's 3 morphs for the same product):

If anyone can help me with this, I would really appreciate it. I'm trying everything I can (including commenting on the Youtube channel of the Turbo Loader creator to see if he notices)
