genuinely got 4kd at 2 gens and says skill issue to a perkless essentially onryo and says skill issue. mind you i didn't camp this game and i killed 1 person before every other person got to 2 hooks then i killed the rest some survs genuinely confuse me

every aspect of the kit has been nerfed, counterplay for the survivors is extremely simple, and every single tech can just be done by other dash killers with less difficulty.
I queued up as Knight and after the first 20 or so seconds went by I found my first survivor who was standing out in the open waiting for me. IMMEDIATELY upon seeing which killer I was, they DC'd.
This disappointed me for multiple reasons:
1.) This wastes my time. I didn't queue up to chase bots.
2.) I actually enjoy the challenge of playing killer, and bots are not challenging.
3.) As someone who plays both sides equally, I know just how frustrating it is to have a teammate abandon you for the most petty reason.
So, after seeing this, I decided the match was forfeit (because where's the fun?), and tunneled out the bot while letting everyone else finish the gens and escape. I even took the time to do small chases without hitting them to let them know I was friendly.
ALL three survivors acknowledged this individually, and went back to repairing right in front of me.
Upon the last gen popping, I even opened the gate for them and let them pass me to escape.
When we got to the end game screen, I typed this in chat to let them know I empathized.
Then one of them had this to say... they disconnected after my last line here.
Honest to god, what could I have POSSIBLY done to garner this response?
I gave a free win, I was polite about it, and wished them well in chat, so what did I do wrong?
(p.s. Yes, I know I spelled "deserter" wrong. Rushed, panicked typing mixed with dyslexia is a hell of a drug.)
