Im replaying through in NG+, and my main is Carla, she’s a fcking tank, not the point tho. Ive never been to the lifeguard HQ after Clickbait, and I was shocked Amanda was here, then I took a second to actually look at her character design, and I just noticed Amanda has French braids like Carla!! Idk if this is just a coincidence but I thought that was ADORABLE!!! Just two besties with matching braids 🥹

I'm not asking to tone it down for christian purposes. I just find it a bit unimmersive if I can strip a fat guy down to down bone with brass knuckles, in a few punches.
Would it even be possible to mod this kind of thing in?
Edit: it's not even bad, just feel it's too sensitive. This game is absolutely beautiful to a point that I kind of agree that this is near peak (atleast of what we need that is photorealistic).
It's just I feel like some of the gibs and bodies make it feel like zombies are made of jello.

Not exactly sure what to tag it, but we've got full metal jacket nails apparently. All the ammo boxes are the same but different colours and with a different picture. Text and all is identical
Edit: I am not complaining about this, I just thought it was funny that it says the nails are full metal jacket and other people might have missed it
For those who played "New Game+" as Bruno: was it difficult?
It’s hard to kill the monster with infinite zombies following me around. I’ve played for like half an hour trying to stop them and they only stop appearing in this area but when I have to go farther they’re everywhere every second. I searched a video on YouTube and the person got rid of them so I don’t know what im missing. I’ve removed each ball from the glass and I go back a here to use them as a weapon, when he’s almost dying I get killed by either the zombies or the monster. Can’t even win using fury mode constantly

So Ive played this game before and never have ever experienced this before but recently I bought it for steam and its been shaking up a storm. ive tried all the FOV/fps caps but that really doesn'y help. anyway anyone could tell me how to fix this. It is genuinely ruining my experience

Like legitimately, how the hell did they make me shed actual tears over Amanda *fucking* Styles, like she annoyed the fuck outta me in her first two missions and then in her third she actually makes me cry with her note and audio recording, like Jesus, props to the writers I guess goddamn
So I'm playing Dead Island Riptide with my friend and we just got to the lab.
The Doctor there mentions that the immune people on the island (Xian, Purna, Sam-B and Logan) bodies basically suppress the virus but don't actually destroy it, but a there's a possibility that certain reagents could cause the virus to mutate and effect the survivors.
So basically thinking that the reason Sam-B got struck up by the virus was because it started to mutate inside him. I know he mentions "Must be different shit this time." but it might not be, it could just be what happened in the sewers or something like that with all the chemicals.
What do you all think?
Anyway i can just play the dlc over again without having to do new game plus.. or its 1 time and thats it
