There are barely any pictures of Dean’s funeral (his family probably wanted it to be as private as possible).
In his pardner’s memoir (Dean and Me: A Love Story) it is written this: “I lost my partner and my best friend. The man who made me the man I am today. I think of him with undying respect. I miss him every day I'm still here."
