(I don't know how to hid spoilers so don't read)
I've encountered this guy twice, and unlike the nightmare of DS1 never ending trench battle (took me days), I've done him in both times without dying. His AI is terrible, first time I was standing infront of a grave cube he kwpt reapawning, shooting him in the butt. He's reappear looking in another direction around this same spot, butt shoot him again.
My second meeting, he seemed even easier. I mostly had trouble moving.
He doesn't feel like much of a enemy. Almost sad, that I am doing him a charity interacting with him. That shooting him in the butt releases his karma burden, or gives him enlightenment, so he can go on to wherever people like him goes.
Went on a hiking trip to Little Jerusalem Badlands in western Kansas.
People need to stop saying my state is ugly/boring.
I never bothered to make a vehicle in DS1 but could see how to make one. I have about 3-4ths of the roads constructed in DS2 now, and realized I have no idea how to make one. Tried several times, different spots.
Admittedly, I could just continue on using other people's vehicles, seems no shortage.
After 100hr I finally decided to look up what the Magellan fast travel "Magellan Evaluation" message meant. No wonder my plethora of lost cargo that I've been storing there hasn't been worth shit 🙃
That cargo gets docked what, like 75% the likes haha. Guess it's time to entrust or just deliver it all and stop storing it
All shots captured in-game using a freecam tool, with post-processing done in Photoshop. No AI, no mods — pure in-game photography and cinematic composition.
Realized too late on the elevator. How screwed am i? (Currently holding my breath)
Avete mai pensato che le sezioni di Neil ( Terra, Sott'acqua, Aria) possano essere anche un riferimento al gameplay di Super Mario? Ci ho pensato dalla prima volta, quando lo colpisci e lui urla "Mamma mia!".
Completely forgot to grab a video but still very happy haha.
(Both DS1 & DS2 spoilers are fine)
Also: who built all the shelters and why do they look the same? If it's Bridges, then who would even be qualified to live all alone in the middle of nowhere, and why would they? I get that isolation is the main theme of the first game and that many preppers refuse to connect because they don't trust Bridges/Fragile so if they didn't then why are they living in bunkers marked with Bridges/Fragile terminals?
I've read many journals but I may have missed on the ones related to this. Calling to all lore-heads, I've been scratching my head on this one.
Hello Porters,
So I’ve beaten Death Stranding 2, working on getting all achievements, and I just wanted to share this because the difference was grossly noticable.
I literally bought a PS5 DualSense controller just to play this game. I've had a great experience the entire time and used no other peripheral to play the game. Well that changed the other day, I decided to try using my Xbox Series controller wirelessly just so I could kick back and do some couch play, and I didn't want to get up and plug in the 10 ft usb-c cable. Big let down. The downgrade was so massive that I immediately got my fatass up and plugged in the DualSense. The Xbox controller just cannot compare at all.
The fancy haptic vibration on the DualSense was doing so much, that I didn't notice until it was gone. Like, you can actually feel the difference in the ground when you're walking on different terrain, and the adaptive triggers get stiff and give you actual resistance when you’re carrying a heavy load. It makes the game feel so much more immersive.
Just a major heads up though: you have to keep it wired. If you use Bluetooth on PC, the advanced haptics and the triggers don't work, so you just get normal boring rumble.
I'm gonna try the Director's Cut of the first game pretty soon here to experience the game through the controller.
Anyway, if you have a DualSense, definitely plug it in for DS2. It makes the whole world feel so alive, if that makes "sense".
Keep on keeping on!
(P.s. I still love the Xbox controller, and use it for most other games since it is wireless with the dongle).
Was out back catching some sun with the dog after work and noticed these curious little flowers.
Reminds me of the silver flowers you see in heavy BT zones…if it starts raining tonight that may be a wrap for the east coast 😂
Perfect timing as I'll be in Tokyo in July. What's the deal with the Gundam-like V fin on Ludens though?
