Replaced the gable end fascia boards on my house this weekend for under £250

Assisting my father in law who has experience in roof lining, managed to do a full replacement of the rotten facia boards.

£127 for timber

£30 for primer and paint

£90 to pay for his diesel for the van up to Scotland and back.

Big advantage is that he has his own easydeck scaffolding and ladders. Will also cross post to r/deathladders.

Terrifying footage of climbers crossing a ladder over a massive crevasse, with hundreds of feet of ice and nothing beneath them.

Safety first, then teamwork.

Just found this sub. This is my father-in-laws death contraption.
