Asked a lady to move her bag in a crowded Metro. Got abused and pushed instead.
Peak office hours on the Pink Line. The coach was packed, and this lady had her green bag taking up some space while she was standing with her hand on the side deck.
I politely asked her to move the bag to her side so that a little space could be made.
She immediately started abusing me — “idhar hi ghuss jaa” and other vulgar stuff. Then she pushed my bag and even pushed me.
I didn't react because I was already completely exhausted after office and didn't want to escalate the situation.
But seriously, why are people so aggressive over the simplest things?
Basic civic sense and basic decency seem to be missing in some people.
