DMRC is planning to have audio ads in Delhi Metro

In a new tender released by the DMRC, they are seeking bids from advertising firms for audio advertisements in the Delhi Metro.

The plan is to have these ads running in 4 lines, with the following rates monthly(they're calling these rates MG minimum guarantee):

Red,Yellow line: 15 lakhs

Blue line: 16 lakhs

Magenta line: 6.5 lakhs

The revenue share for these ads will be 85-15% between DMRC and the Advertising firm. If in a specific month the revenue is greater than MG, DMRC will receive a higher amount based on the share above.

This is just a tender for now but it's great to see the DMRC plan for ways to increase non-fare box revenue. As most of these lines have high traffic during commute hours (which is when I believe they'll run these ads) then it may not even be that disturbing to the users.

Has anyone here actually used the Bharat Yatra NCMC Card in the Delhi Metro? I recently got one but I’m stuck at the activation step. The instructions seem to push you toward the Bharat Yatra app, but I don’t have it installed and was wondering if there’s another way to activate the card.
