Asked a lady to move her bag in a crowded Metro. Got abused and pushed instead.

Peak office hours on the Pink Line. The coach was packed, and this lady had her green bag taking up some space while she was standing with her hand on the side deck.

I politely asked her to move the bag to her side so that a little space could be made.

She immediately started abusing me — “idhar hi ghuss jaa” and other vulgar stuff. Then she pushed my bag and even pushed me.

I didn't react because I was already completely exhausted after office and didn't want to escalate the situation.

But seriously, why are people so aggressive over the simplest things?

Basic civic sense and basic decency seem to be missing in some people.

Why Was the Pink Line Metro So Empty Around 7:30 PM Today?

Aaj shaam around 7:30 PM, I boarded the Pink Line and was honestly surprised to see it this empty. Usually, there’s a decent crowd around this time.

Does anyone know if there was any specific reason today? Maybe a service change, diversion, holiday, or something else?

Anyone traveling on the Pink Line today noticed the same thing?

Rapid Delhi Metro

Why not have a metro to skip alternate stations or skip few stations on longer routes?

For example A blue line dwarka to noida electronic city takes 1h45m why not skip half the stations for the 1st metro that runs at 7 and 2nd metro that runs at 7.06 can skip some other stations.
But always keeping the major station in every loop.
It would drastically improve the travel time.
For a given station, it might not be potentially relevant to have a metro every 5 mins.
Just thinking right now.

Only till Seelampur?

Today I was going to Rithala from Shaheed Sthal and the metro in which I was sitting was only till Seelampur. I wanted to ask if this is temporary or if it's going to be something permanent? Seelampur zyada door toh hai nahi Shaheed Sthal se toh ek metro jo sirf Seelampur tak jaaye ajeeb hai aur thoda inconvenient bhi. Mujhe toh sirf Dilshad garden tak ki hi samajh nahi aati thi ab ye aur aa gayi 😢
