Spring has Sprung and Another Pauper 1k is happening in Denver, Colorado!

Enchanted Grounds in Littleton Colorado is hosting its third quarterly 1k! We have hit capacity for every event so far going from 40-64 players and want to keep up this pace. Last event was won by mono-red madness burn with a nice spread of different decks in the top 8. We have drawn people from all over the state of Colorado with people driving at least 4 hours to reach us! If you're interested at all please come out for some amazing competitive gameplay and great coffee too.

Seeking ttrpg awesomeness.

Hi! My son (13, m) and I (46, f) recently moved here and are looking for a weekly or every other week game starting soon. Or, if there are regular one shot events we could attend, that would also be great. We’ve played Starfinder, DnD 5e, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer Fantasy RPG… and more. And have the books for all. I have zero problems with him being in games with swearing, adult humor, most anything… he’s read Dungeon Crawler Carl series and a number of Warhammer books and is frankly more mature than I am :) He is also used to playing in games with only adults, although it would be great if I could find him a group closer to his age. We’re in N Park Hill, but good to drive up to a half hour away if need be. Thanks!

Any one want to meet up for some A&A?

I haven't played Axis & Allies in about 25 years but had a lot of fun back then, I have the game (altho the board is a little warped). I'm sure I'll need to go over the rules again.

Just need up to four more people, anyone wanna meet up at Enchanted Grounds (Highlands Ranch) for a game?

I would prefer experienced players but don't mind teaching a noob or two. The game is for 2-5 players, altho either 2,4, or 5 is best, with 3 people it's a little weird.

The game can take anywhere from 2 - 6 hours to play, depending on how experienced people are.

So, how about it, anyone? DM me or post.

LFG - DnD 5e+

Howdy, I'm on the west side of Denver and am looking for a group to play DnD with. Does anyone know of a group looking for players, or any resources for finding an in-person group?

Wanted: Bold Adventurers!

Hello! I am a GM looking for folks interested in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay fourth edition! I am happy to introduce new people to this excellent game, as well as experienced players. For those who don't know, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay has been around forever. It's a percentage system (not unlike Call of Cthulhu) that is set in the grim and perilous world of Warhammer Fantasy. The game focuses on darker stories, intricate plots, deep character progression, and a very flavourful and detailed experience. I have lots of starter materials, and I am hosting a gathering at Advantage Games in Northglenn to show people the ropes!

Please message me if you are interested!

Friendly local game store role call, and what kinds of games they focus on.

I think it might benefit the sub to put together a list of "friendly local game stores" and the games they focus on. Here are the ones I've been going to:

HobbyTown USA (1915 S Havana St, Aurora, CO 80014): They have tabletop wargames, model building, and lots of tables in the basement for play.

Crit Castle (15382 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80017): They have trading card games, board games, and TTRPG's (including a lot for my favorite, Dungeon Crawl Classics/Xcrawl Classics)

Wizard's Chest (451 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203): Huge selection of board games, plust tabletop war games and TTRPG's. Friendly and helpful staff.

What are some of your favorite friendly local game stores in the Denver/Aurora area?

Magic the Gathering - East/North East Denver?

Does anyone play or have a group they play with in this area? Looks like a lot of the other groups and events I've found play on the west side or closer to downtown.

I'm brand new to the game but wanting to find some chill people to play with in person that are cool with playing casually. Just learning the game and having fun. Right now I just have a couple Commander decks to play with.

[Offline][3.5][Aurora, CO][Sunday 2-7PM] Homebrew campaign

[Offline][3.5][Aurora, CO][Sunday 2-7PM] Homebrew campaign

Hey all! Our group is looking for 2-3 players to join our in-person table. We meet every other Sunday from 2p-7p in south Aurora (Anschutz/Town Center area).

The core group (DM and two players) has been together for about 6 years now and gone through iterations as players join, move away, have new work schedule conflicts, and we look for fresh meat.

The DM has had the forever-DM curse for about 18 years. The players have been playing for about 10 (Elven Ranger) and 7 (Elven Druid) years individually. Our third is a Human Cleric but has a new work schedule that conflicts for a while but will rejoin at some point.

The campaigns are all homebrew and tend to be in the grimdark fantasy genres. The current one has an air of mystery which has been really great. The table is almost always covered with maps and minis and it’s very immersive. There are “theater of the mind” sessions, but not often.

We’re not looking for specific classes to fill gaps, so whatever your fave is, it’s welcome. We have fun and can definitely go off the rails, but we take the campaign seriously and work together. If you play chaotic stupid, try to “win” D&D, or just want to murder-hobo, this isn’t the group for you.

**Other Table Info:**

All players are LGBTQIA+ and allys. Drinks at the table are common. It's a non-smoking household (what you do on your time makes no difference). No in-game sexy time. Political right-wingers will not enjoy this table.

Let me know if anyone’s interested and we can arrange a meet-n-greet to see if we all click.

[Offline][5e][Longmont, CO][Weekends TBD] Campaign/Oneshots?

[30M] - DM who moved to CO from out of state with about a decade or so of DM'ing experience looking to either run a new table sometime soon. Or to join an existing table looking for chill and fun players who will not backseat DM you! Let me know if you have any spots open or are looking to start something new!

Either way willing to drive, and can make weekends work depending on day/time. With the understanding that we are all adults with work and kids and things occasionally will come up.

Let's talk soon!

Considering a move to Denver area, what games are popular?

Hello all,

Potentially looking to relocate to the Denver area within the next 1-2 years and was curious what games are most common? I’ve seen a few posts randomly show up on my feed for 40k and that got me wondering.

Currently casually playing Halo Flashpoint and waiting on my StarCraft TMG pre order to arrive. Otherwise my current group is big on Zombicide because of the casual nature.

LFG DnD 5e, 3-5 players wanted

Hi all! Im Alyx (He/They, 32) and I love DMing! My wednesday group is about to wrap up and one of my players is taking over the Host seat so I need another group to scratch the itch. I'm welcoming to new players, LGBTQ+, and homebrew as long as we discuss it.

I enjoy playing other lesser known systems, but I have run quite alot of DnD 5e in the past and am willing to run it if more people prefer it. We can do a module or I can prep a homebrew campaign for whatever system we choose.

I'm aiming for Saturday afternoons or evenings since my weeks are pretty busy at the moment. I live in Lakewood (Edgewater area) and am happy to Host or travel if necessary to get some gaming.

Reply here or send me a DM and I'll answer any questions ya'll might have. I'll pick players based mostly on vibes and then we'll probably do a group hangout/session 0 in a public neutral space to feel out the group dynamics in person.

TLDR: Chill DM, Saturday sessions in Lakewood, picking players based on vibes. Let's play!

Looking to start a Starfinder game!

Hey, I live just West of Cheesman Park and I'm looking to start a Starfinder game. I have a module I ran a few years ago that I'm looking to run again, it's a Horror module and it'd be a lot of fun with the right group. If anyone is interested feel free to respond here or DM me. Beginners, long time players, anyone is welcome. I'm a 30 yo M and I've been playing Starfinder since it was released, GMing starfinder since about 2022, (but gming and dming much longer). If you've never played but are curious, it's a science fiction table top roleplaying game in the far future of the Pathfinder universe. We'd probably play weekends, but could maybe play a weekday night if everyone can agree on one.

Looking for playstation friends.

Hey guys I am looking for friends to play together. I am 29, male, and very shy. I don't do voice chat but hoping that eventually we'll get to a point where I feel comfortable talking. I am currently playing fortnite (lego, save the world, music, battle royal), I sometimes play roblox and I play marvel rivals mostly because these are free to play. I am planning on returning to final fantasy 14. Anyway if you're interested please reach out! I am also into other stuff like marvel, dc, lord of the rings, harry potter, real housewives, invincible etc. Also should say I am open to anyone (male/female) doesn't matter to me. I am on playstation. I am hoping that eventually we can meet in person and hang out after a while. Thanks!
