Deep Deck is about to launch it's Kickstarter. It's come a long way. Thank you for all your amazing feedback!

Recently I posted the preview link for Deep Deck's preview Kickstarter, and I received some high quality feedback from r/cardgames, so I tool some time to reach out to playtesters, film new content and tell the story better. Thank you all. Here is a link to the pre-launch kickstarter if you'd like to take a look or get notified. Pledging will open September 1st.

Commissioned the talented Joe Palec (local artist from Cap Hill) for a TTPRG & board gaming-inspired mural at Breakhaus Coffee! Super happy with how it turned out.

He took the wall in our gaming loft and completely transformed it. It's chock-full of board game and TTRPG references. We seriously can't stop staring at it. 😄

Follow him for more cool art on Instagram at joepalec (and give us a follow at breakhauscoffeeshop).

Also if you are looking for a spot in Cap Hill/downtown Denver to play board games, drink coffee, and hang out with cool people, swing by!

Englewood board games/D&D

Hey guys, I’ve been wanting to get back into D&D and more into some board games and wanting to see if there are any groups in the downtown Englewood area that meet during the week for a fun game night. I figured there’s probably some groups that meet at tabletop tap or local game store but wanted to reach out. Thanks!

Long shot: Anyone willing to lend me Zelda BOTW?

Alright r/denvergamers, this is a long shot, but I figured it’s worth asking because I really, really don’t want to drop $60+ on a game I just want to play through once.

I’m looking to borrow The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Switch 2. I want to run through the game, return it, and then go on my merry way.

God, I miss Blockbuster. 😂

I completely understand that lending a game to a random Reddit stranger requires some trust. I’m happy to make that as comfortable as possible. I’m an honest dude and can provide whatever reasonable info helps you feel comfortable — where I work, places I regularly hang out, my weekly league nights, etc. I’d also be willing to leave collateral OR trade if we can agree on something of comparable value.

I’m really not trying to get anything for free or pull some weird Reddit scam. I just have a serious itch to play BOTW and would rather borrow a copy than buy one that’s going to sit on my shelf afterward.
If anyone in the Denver area has a copy they’re willing to lend out, I would be extremely grateful. Happy to meet somewhere public, make the exchange in person, and return it when I’m finished.

And yes, I realize how ridiculous this post sounds. 😂
But hey… Blockbuster is gone. We have to look out for each other now.

New to Denver, DnD/Magic

Hey guys! My wife and I just moved to Denver and are looking for a DnD group. We’re located in Uptown, free most evenings after 6pm and weekends. I am experienced with DnD and my wife is new to it but on the flip my Wife is experienced with MTG and I am completely green. Anyone looking for DnD members!? Thanks!

Any D&D or TTRPG groups looking for another player?

Hi, 33 M here, been in the area for a few years. Currently living in Aurora but about to move closer to Denver. Work a M-F office job schedule.

I’ve been playing D&D and TTRPGS about 6 or 7 years now. Also have DM’d quite a bit, and can be a DM for a group as well.

I have one game I’m currently running, but we can usually only meet once a month, and I’d love to have more TTRPG in my life than that.

Open to virtual and online stuff too, but would vastly prefer in person games.

Just thought I’d put this out there, in case I get lucky! Table vibes matter to me, and I’m a pretty chill guy. Would prefer more queer inclusive groups, which is why I’m posting here specifically.

I typically like a good balance of role play and combat, but also can roll with the punches pretty well. Live D&D, but also love learning new systems, and have a few others I really like.

DM or comment if interested!

Odd question?

Here's an odd question.

Obviously, this is an SR for Denver area people who like tabletop games.

What other groups are like this? Are there FB grups for this? Meetup groups? Discords?

In other words, how do YOU connect with local gamers?

Thanks!

Interested in getting into Magic The Gathering? Come check us out!

Hi again r/denvergamers

If you're not sick of me by now...good! For the past 8 months, I've been running a group aiming to teach people my favorite game of all time: Magic the Gathering!

It really is the best game, in my opinion, full of endless surprise, thousands of strategies, and amazing art. It's also a great way to socialize and get out of the house, because lord knows I got nothing else going on 🙃

This group is targeted at anyone who has even the slightest curiosity about Magic, because we want to teach you the game we love so much! It can be daunting to go to a local game store and just sit down and play. Approaching a table full of strangers can be really intimidating, tutorial videos can be confusing, and trying to learn in loud breweries can be impossible, so I formed this group to introduce people to the game in a no-stakes, quieter environment to make learning easier and more approachable. You don't even need to have a deck! You can borrow one of mine for as long as you need to.

The format we play is Commander/EDH, which is the most casual and popular format. Some people say Commander is a bad place to start, but I couldn't disagree more. I've been teaching dozens of people, starting with Commander, to great effect! Besides, you should start with the format YOU want to play, no prerequisites required.

The barrier to entry has never been lower, too. With precon decks priced affordably and proxies, you can make a solid deck for less than $50. There's no need to open packs of random cards these days, unless that is your thing.

Veteran players are always welcome as well, so long as you don't mind answering rules questions and assisting newer players.

Comment if you'd like an invite to our discord and I'll send you a PM. We are located all over Denver, but we often meet around Wizard's Chest, usually in a quieter restaurant/eatery. Our favorite spot right now is the Enchanted Grounds in Littleton, but we try to schedule events in different spots so everyone can make it. We also play online, using the virtual (completely free) EDHplay website.

Stoked to see you there!

Bullshooter Darts

Not quite the type of game that's talked about in this sub but still worth an ask.

Does anyone know of a place in Denver that has the Bullshooter dart game that is connected to the internet for remote games? Everywhere I have found either doesnt have a camera or isn't connected to the internet.

I want to play my brother across the country and haven't been able to find a location that is actually connected to the internet.

Looking for D&D group in south denver areas (Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Parker, etc)

Experienced player, though haven't had a regular group for 5 years or so. Used to host a weekly group back in the early 2000's - getting back to my roots here =)

Would love to find a regular D&D group - would be fun to try out the 2024 rules, though 5e is cool as well - and it would be fun to try out Daggerheart as well if a group was so inclined..

I can accommodate most weekday evenings or weekend slots, though might need to do every-other-week if a group is on the right schedule, based on when my 11 year old is here (though happy to host as well, with a good sized dining room table for it) to meet more regularly.

DM me as you like - and thank you.

Looking for 1 or 2 players for a Pathfinder 1 game

Looking for 1 or 2 players for a Pathfinder 1 game. Our party is currently level 3 and our sorcerer is moving away. Would love to replace with another magic user. We try to play about every two weeks on Sunday afternoons (1pm - 5pm). Our group ranges in age from early thirties to early fifties. Some experienced players - some newer players. New players are welcome to join and learn. Our next game is scheduled for Sept 6. We play in the Platt Park neighborhood (SW of Wash Park in Denver).
