I am 20M and on a break after sem-1 and back to my hometown, and the worst thing is there is nothing to do here. And because of which I am thinking of getting me into trip kinda shyt. So for now I have decided about Darjeeling like 4-5 days trip. I have already built an itinerary for this, all you need is just permission from your mum and dad; 8-10k Indian Currency; and a non-cancelling mindset just before the execution.

And the last one is very important, coz all my friend lack this.

I am planning a one day family trip to Babadham. Will reach by train around 8 am at Jasidih and the train in return is from Dhanbad with the next stop as Parasnath. Here are my queries

1. As it is just one day trips I am not planning to book any stay but don't want to carry the luggage all day. Any locker rooms available near Jasidih or babadham?

2. How to travel from Deoghar to Basukinath and what is the cost?

3. Any good places to eat?

4. How to travel back from Deoghar to Dhanbad or Parasnath? Could not find any trains or buses and cabs were showing around 4k. The train is at 8 pm from Dhanbad.

5. Any other places to visit nearby which can be covered on the same day.

I’m getting married in Deoghar in late November this year, and I’m looking for recommendations/suggestions from locals or anyone who has recently planned a wedding there.

I’m the bride, while the groom’s family is from Deoghar, but my side of the family will be traveling there, so I’m trying to figure out good arrangements for both wedding functions and stay.

Here’s what I’m specifically looking for:

A decent marriage hall / marriage garden with nice aesthetics (not overly flashy, but clean and elegant)

Accommodation for around 40–50 people for 3–4 days

Preferably somewhere not too far from the temple/main city area

I checked a few marriage gardens with rooms attached, but they become extremely expensive if we stay beyond the wedding day itself

Some cheaper options looked nice but were very far away, so I’m confused about what’s practical

Would really appreciate recommendations for:

Marriage halls / resorts / hotels

Properties with both event space + stay

Makeup artists

Mehendi artists

Photographers/videographers

Decorators

Caterers

Any wedding planners or reliable vendors in general

Please help a stressed bride out 😭
