Deportivo is keeping a close eye on Adama Traoré heading into the final stretch of the transfer window. The Spanish international is one of the top names underlined in red on the A Coruña club's wishlist to reinforce the right wing, a priority position they want to upgrade before the signing window closes.

Adama, who turned 30 this past January, finished his contract with West Ham in June and is currently a free agent. As a result, the Catalan player is free to decide his future whenever he wants. Dépor could be on his horizon, as the club considers him one of the most interesting options on the open market to add depth to the right side of the pitch. In that area, they already have Adrià Altimira, who has a more defensive profile, and David Mella, who is left-footed and has just returned from a five-month injury layoff. Additionally, Hidalgo has the option of using Luismi Cruz, who has never entirely looked comfortable in that two-way, up-and-down role.

Because of this, Traoré would provide the A Coruña side with a breakaway threat into open space, a quality that Deportivo's roster currently lacks. Even at his age, his speed over both short bursts and long runs remains his standout attribute. That ability to beat opponents by covering ground faster than anyone else is what originally caught the world's attention, cementing his status as an elite player and allowing him to build a career primarily in England. Furthermore, the former Barcelona academy product fits the profile of a proven veteran that the organization is looking for to complement its commitment to young talent.

Last season, Traoré played for the Hammers starting in January after being acquired from Fulham. With the London team, where Paco Jémez served as an assistant coach, he ultimately ended up being relegated. Now, he is looking for a new challenge after racking up more than 270 games of Premier League experience and playing for Barça on loan for half a season under manager Xavi Hernández. There, in the Catalan capital, he played alongside Aubameyang for a few months. His return to the Culé squad to join the first team took place in January 2022, shortly after being part of the Spanish national team that Luis Enrique put together for the European Championship played in 2021.

Inês Pereira leaves Everton to join Deportivo La Coruna

We lose probably the best player to never make the main 11. She's had a very successful stint for Deportivo La Coruna this past season and will be departing to join permanently.

The money in the kitty is nice, but she looked great in the recent friendly, and we're losing a talented player. Hope Brosnan stays fit this season.

I'm sure Pereira will keep absolutely slaying it with Deportivo La Coruna
