HELPPP (Binged watched in a day)

As much as I wanted to hate it, I still watched it completely in a day and I have a few questions like help me understand this

Is this all happening in real life as well? And like are their equations like this in real life as well? I mean for example like does binda not talk to teja in actual or is it just for the show and like is it scripted or whattt like I'm confused and the divorce b/w dyuti and iryna like was it supposed to happen on the show or for the show and like dyuti's mum's behaviour with son felt like for the scripted (the way she was reserved before all the talk about iryna) I mean why sm hesitation with mum

I mean you know in big boss whatever happens, the contestants only got to know it when they got out so that makes sense cuz they had no phones and all but what about this? I mean plis help me understand how this works

What’s up with his hair? Can’t his billions find him a better solution? Or does one not really care when they have FU money?

What an absolute shitfest

On the last episode currently and idk if I can get through it. The show, whilst entertaining in parts, has been largely embarrassing for our community.

From the gaudy events to tacky outfits, the screaming in public, the MISOGYNY and the perpetuation of stereotypes - it’s been a massive ugh.

Binda is the ultimate villainess. I think she tried to assert herself as queen bee from the start when in reality she just comes off as deeply insecure and mean.

Satish is so CAMPY but he actually wasn’t a horrible person and seemed to be a voice of reason with the guys often times. I loved when sulked whilst
promising to Binda he wouldn’t go out anymore - a total diva!

Tejasswi is OTT with her reactions to most things but overall was far from the worst.

Lailli, Alizey & Pamela I don’t have much to say about. They’ve got attitude and aren’t afraid to show it, at least what you see is what you get with them by the looks of it.

Dyuti is an absolute nightmare. Whilst I can appreciate some of his concerns around Iryna not being present enough for the kids, The way he went about things was so toxic and cruel.

The astrologer woman I reckon is a con artist.

Iryna needs help. I don’t think she’s a bad girl by any means..she’s just in a bad situation and it’s worn her out.

Adel is the most normal.

Karan seems sweet enough, shouldn’t be bitching about his Mrs to guys in shitty relationships though - no good ever comes from that.

Ok. Done. My parasocial psychoanalysis of everyone is done. Wish programmes about the desi community choose people who are more representative of our community better in future..

I just finished watching this show and..

This group of people are the most toxic desis I have ever seen. The men think they can do whatever they want just cause they have money and treat their wives like 💩. The women are just as bad, however I did end up liking pammi by the end of the show. Also liked Sana. Binda comes off as two faced and thinks she achieved something in life cause she started a business (with her husband’s money). I also feel she thinks that having another baby will get Satish out of his “partying ways”…
The men are just as bad, dyuti being the worst type of representation of an Indian man. He expected Irina to do everything in the house and not surprised the mother 🗑️ talked her in that episode. I truly felt bad for Irina.. I did not like Dyuti’s outfit in the proposal scene with the flowers on the suit.
Karan was ok.. i didnt like his look or dressing sense. Teja was equally annoying.
And can someone please explain to me why someone like Satish, who has all the money in the world, not even try to learn English?? At least try. English is probably one of the easiest languages to learn, and you should know it if you live abroad.
And lastly , the twins. I dont think they identified with their Indian side until the show. I felt they were out of place.
I still plan on watching season 2 if it comes around 😆

I HATE TEJA

What is her beef with pamela? Like why does she keep targeting her? She constantly trying to put her down, god knows why. Does she know this is not bigboss?

Pamela on this new Netflix show called lock up

I don’t live in India so I don’t know if these people are that famous over there but is Pamela THAT famous? Or is she on that show because of desi bling?

Of course she tells the host to not call her pammi.

Tabinda Sanpal

Finished Desi Bling today and I dislike Tabinda so much.

First of all, she's a selfish vamp who acts like she's doing some huge favour by "allowing" Satish to give his own sons their basic rights. As if they need her permission to receive what should already be theirs.

Secondly, her attempts to influence Karan were so tacky and transparent. She clearly expected him to fall for her narrative, but thankfully he saw right through it.

And the way she treated Pamela was honestly one of the ugliest parts of her personality. It wasn't just that she was making fun of Pamela, there was a clear sense of superiority and condescension in the way she spoke about her. She constantly seemed to look down on Pamela, almost as if she viewed her as beneath her. Then, when she got called out, instead of reflecting on her behaviour, she doubled down and basically said she wasn't Pamela's close friend and didn't care. That's not being blunt, that's just arrogance.

What makes it even worse is how pathetically she enables and defends her husband's cheating. Rather than holding him accountable, she seems more invested in protecting him and preserving her own position. She'll overlook his behaviour, justify it, and direct her bitterness elsewhere, which honestly makes her look insecure rather than strong. It's hard to respect someone who is so willing to excuse betrayal while acting morally superior to everyone around her.

Her entire personality screams insecurity, greed, prejudice, and entitlement. Karan caught on to exactly who she is when he said she can't stand Tejasvi's independence and that she was self made, lool.
