I got back into Destiny after the announcement of it's return and I'm going through the past dlc. Edge of Fate was awesome and a lot of fun!

I knew Renegades had Star Wars stuff. I had heard. I have seen Praxic Blade builds on youtube and it looks like a light saber. Neat! But in the opening cutscene and mission, they are talking about the imperium, running from them with a critical data disk stolen from imperial hands. Drifter's ghost makes R2-D2 sounds. The cabal are dressed in storm trooper armor. There's just a Darth Vader cabal standing ominously in the smoke (then doesn't show up the rest of the mission?), Kylo Ren appears, they're both using lightsabers that seem pretty common all the sudden, the insides of the ship are just Star Wars Empire ships, Drifter gets frozen in carbonite, AT-STs drop down and now I'm waiting to see who my father is at the end of this campaign.

I think its cool? Not sure yet. Fun and everything but I didn't realize it was THIS heavy handed and just a direct clone of Star Wars. I like the Destiny universe and the unique characters and magic system they created, but this seems a little disheartening compared to what I was expecting.

Is it this much of a Star Wars copy in later missions, or is it just the first one that is this intense?

If you're on console, Riptide #3 & #4 are both showing up in my LittleLight app as a PvE Godroll (arrowhead/accelerated/ALH/chill clip).

I know many of you probably already have one of these already but I've got at least half a dozen in my vault that only have partial top-tier perks so it's time to go free up some space!

I'm having trouble getting the catalyst to drop on shattered throne completion. Im doing it solo so it's taking a bit of time to grind it each time. It's just the regular dungeon from the dreaming city, right?

I’m curious. If we do get to fight The Winnower at some point (I know, unlikely but let’s have fun) what would it look like? And not like it possessing other entities, what would its true form look like do you think? Something Eldritch? Deity like? A person of sorts? Give me your thoughts!!!

Still trying to wrap my brain around builds and how everything interacts. Would love to watch someone breakdown builds and what specifically makes them good or bad.

Hey just recently received laptop, rtx 5080, and ryzen 9 9955hx, 32 gb ram at 5600 mts and at 1080p gaming with destiny 2 getting 110 fps in tower with 1% lows of 48fp and in crucible control getting 110 -130 fps whilst feeling not smooth at all. Any help?

With all the main campaigns coming back and having a more complete story, I want to ask you, Bungie. I know bringing back all the seasons is probably impossible due to technical reasons, but I ask of you to make a small cutscene for each season recapping the events of that season and make them viewable in the Timeline.

Cutscenes similar to what we used to get at the beginning of every season, recapping what happened previously. It can just be Ghost explaining what happened, with just the key plot points.

I feel like this might be a great way of keeping the story connected with minimal effort.

Wind down 2026 by bashing some Scorn and stopping them from building an army from the ashes of a ruined Vesuvius. I'll have 3 tables available, one each day at 10:30am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'll have all of my stuff with me and will be camping out a table the rest of the time for people to walk by and check out what's available.

Played the crap out of D1 (day one), played D2 at launch and just kinda fell off.

I know the game is “dead,” as far as new content is concerned. But I’m looking to properly jump in… just not sure where to start?

Starting from scratch here. Titan, of course. Feeling lost/overwhelmed at the thought of trying to actually up and explore this game.

But I am going to attempt to get good-ish gear, try some raids, find some cool people to play with, and 100% all achievements.

Totally doable, right?
