Fort Wayne

Anyone coming to the Fort Wayne game next Saturday let me know yer food preference and I will clue you in as to where to eat. FW actually has a robust food scene.

First tip, the best beer in FW is at Hop River. It is ten minutes to the stadium: straight down Spring St. which turns into Bass Rd.

Mexicantown Event Shutdown?

Anyone know why the event was closed off for the Mexico v. Ecuador game? Walked up with my family saw the Sean Mann and a few other staffers talking to a swell of Cops, but they stopped letting folks in and were about to clear the parking lot.

Was always confused why it wasn’t ticketed like the campus martius ones are, given that they were getting very large crowds for the group stage here at Los Galanes.

Any suggestions on where to go watch in southwest now? Would love any shouts.

Going to get hate for this, but here I go.

I think that the whole politicalization of this club has been getting a bit out of hand. People are coming to Keyworth just to make their political standings known. Some things need to be detached from soccer. When you go to a game, it doesn’t need to be a pride rally. You sit there for 90 minutes, participate in the chants, and cheer on the players. This is football. Your random pride flag or Palestine flag? Fine. But making everything about these movements is just tiring at the club. The jerseys don’t need to be rainbow. Your entire supporter section does not need to be waving a flag that doesn’t have anything
to do with the sport.

You can 100% have pride rally’s and protests or whatever you want to do outside of the sport. And I fully encourage it. But it should not creep into the clubs identity. The second that rainbow colors and flags start overpowering the rouge and gold, you’ve gone too far. Too many people could care less about the club, and go to essentially protest. Spend the time and money you’ve spent to protest at Keyworth to go to an actual rally where it won’t affect this club.

Season ticket experience?

Anyone else having a rough season ticket experience (new policies that impact experience, poor communication, loss of value, etc.)?

I have had tickets for multiple years and had nothing but positive experiences previously.

Appreciate any insight folks may have.
