DeviantArt is completely unusable because of AI art.

It's everwhere, even if in my options I desactivated AI Art.

Sadly, I will leave the platform completely until that problem is resolved. I want to support real artists. Deviantart was the artist platforms.

If they won't take a firm stance on AI "art", then I will find somewhere else that support artists, simple as that.

Bye Deviantart, it was fun while it lasted.

I use AI on DeviantArt. Should I just quit the site?

I use to not use AI generated anything. It didn’t get me very far on DeviantArt. They weren’t even art. I was just using a 3D modeling software “Daz3D Studios” that didn’t look cinematic. Now that I have used it and got more views and followers but I read people’s opinions on AI, I feel like I shouldn’t even exist. One time I posted a few AI images of my own original characters once on Reddit and I got so much backlash. The worst they said was “you should be ashamed of yourself” but to me it felt like they were saying “you’re a disgrace, just die.” God, I don’t know what to do at this point. Part of me just wants to disappear.

Doesn't seem all that trustworthy

This comment appeared immediately after I uploaded my most recent picture. I researched the commenter and the statistics seem questionable.

Be careful, everyone.

"Dichotomy"... Help!

I am trying to create a rebrand for my small art business and I am contemplating on using the word 'dichotomy' in the name- I was hoping to get some unbiased opinion on whether that is a bad idea. I recognize it's not a word that's used often, and some might not know what it means- so is that a turn off in regard to having a successful art business?
-my art does target a specific niche audience, including subversive and abstract themes- so it's not like I'm trying to push crochet scarves or anything. Though perhaps that might be more successful lol

Help me out! Be honest! And as always, thank you!

Anyone else waiting a month+ for a support ticket reply?

Hi all,

I submitted a support ticket to DeviantArt over a month ago regarding an account issue, and I still haven't received any reply despite following up multiple times. I've also tried the official support form with no luck so far.

I know support queues can be slow, but a month with zero response is pretty frustrating, especially since the issue is affecting things I need to manage on my account.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay? If so, did you find any way to get a faster response, or a specific channel that actually worked for you?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

DeviantArt Won't Allow Account Deactivation

I follow the directions but when I get to the page that says, "Press button below to deactivate account", there is no button to click. I put in a ticket to have them deactivate the account. I explain the problem about the missing button. They reply reiterating the procedure to deactivate the account. They didn't even read the problem I'm experiencing or the AI is too stupid to understand what I'm saying.

Why was this person deleted?

I only post on DeviantArt on the rare occasions when I feel I’ve created a masterpiece, though I do occasionally browse other people's work. Recently, I noticed a lot of notifications; it turned out the same person had favorited all my pieces and left two additional comments—but the content of those comments had been deleted, leaving me really curious about what they said. I was happy they liked my work, but when I tried to check their account, I was shocked to find it had been deleted. I have no idea why this happened—does anyone know?

How do I know if someone is using my art to train AI

Just a question now comes to me, how can I make sure my artwork is not fed to AI for training if I posted on deviantart? I have been on there for 16 years, this is the first time I thought about it. Is all the art work published there considered as public and open source?
