"Your turn" in DT Missions

Hi there!

Quick question: how do you interpret "end of your turn" abilities in DT Missions? Like those of a Druid, for example. When exactly does your turn end?

As far as I am understand, it's after the crisis clock resolves, because it's the end of this one big turn for everyone. But I'm not sure

6 years ago my Copy of Dice Throne didn't have Tokens

Hey all

I bought a copy of Gunslinger Vs Samurai during the pandemic for me and my Roommate to play at Uni.

It didn't have the token sheet, which at the time I wasn't fussed about. But about a week ago I got to play a copy of outsiders which reminded me how much I like Dice Throne as a game. So I'm now looking to try and get my hands on the tokens so when I expand my character roster I have a full set.

I'm loathed to buy another of the same set as there are so many other characters I'd love to buy.

So does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get my hands on a set of tokens?

Anyone knows where to find this image of Naraxus without the rules and abilities?

Basically like a high resolution png of the Naraxus playmat.
I'm currently trying to homebrew a DTA boss version of Naraxus and need the artwork for the background.

Needs help with understanding a rule

Hey guys, we’re new to the game playing 2v2 as the rulebook suggested (in a zigzag pattern). From reading the rules we understand that you may only use Red Cards when out of your turn. But then this card making us doubt our understanding.
I attacked my opponent and she asked “why does it say A Chosen Player if I can only use it on myself and not my partner since it’s not a Red Card?”
Please help us understand xd
Thank you!

Dice throne vanguard, mystic brawler, what’s next?

I know they did the dice throne digital kickstarter this year, but what’s next to come? Will there be another physical kickstarter? In their 2025 release video they had like 10-14 more characters showing that haven’t been in game yet, any thoughts what we can look forward to next?
A new co-op? A new strongbox? Anyone know?

Storage Tray Update Time

Love this game but just saying, we're long overdue for an updated storage tray solution.

As the hero ideas evolve and get more complex, miniatures, large acrylic tokens, metal, all being common for a full character set.

It's time we were able to keep it all together in one complete character box.

Just my opinion.

Offensive Roll-Defensive Roll Phase Sequence Question

I must not be understanding the rules or maybe the rules are gray here.

Monk activates Fist of Harmony (small straight) during the offense roll which deals 6 defendable damage then provides 2 Chi. Monk already has 5 Chi which is his current stack limit so he automatically spends 2 Chi. The total incoming damage is 8 defendable damage.

Samurai activates Stand Tall (Defensive Roll) resulting in 2 Kabuto and 1 Rising Sun which reduces the total incoming damage to 4.

Knowing that the Samurai has Back Strike and that the current damage being dealt to the Samurai is low, Monk spends an additional 3 Chi changing the incoming damage to 7.

Samurai has Not This Time in his hand which reduces the incoming damage by 6 which would mean the Samurai now would only be taking 1 damage.

It seems to me that I must have gone wrong somewhere because it makes sense to me that the Monk would then choose not to spend the additional 3 Chi and then the Samurai would choose not to use Not This Time. That feels wrong, though especially since now the Samurai has shown his card which provides the Monk with unfair knowledge moving forward.

Let me know if this is just how it is or, if I did mess up procedures, where I went wrong.

Forgemaster: Armoring others!

I've been trying to work this out for a little while now with not much luck. But I want to know exactly how crafting armor for allies works.

From what I've been able to gather, if I craft myself both Ultimanium pieces, I can only craft my Ally Gold armor.

Since A) you need to have the materials on hand to craft higher tier armors, the previous tier being one. And B) you can't have more than one piece at a time (so you can't have 2 helmets / 2 shields)

So am I right? Or can you use an allies gold armor they already have as a material to craft up, ( i thought not since THEY have it, and not me.) Or maybe craft them gold, and immediately upgrade it straight to diamond before giving it to them?

Really wish this was clarified on the leaflet. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Any input is appreciated.

EDIT: You CAN upgrade an allies armor from gold to diamond! In order to play the crafting cost of higher tiers, you simply need to remove the associated piece from any players board. Thank you to everyone who contributed to my question ^^

Forge Master Mining

I received Vanguard yesterday and I was curious about Forge Master. After reading the board and leaflet, I still didn’t understand mining and crafting. Going to Reddit wasn’t a help.

So the answer is that there is a card to explain both mining and crafting on top of the normal deck. The instructions were too long for a leaflet.

It is simple. During your upkeep phase you have the passive ability to “mine”. Some abilities when activated also allow you to mine. You draw three cards from your deck, if any of them are ore (gold, diamond, ultimatium) then you add it to your forge (your second passive ability). If you get multiple ores, you can only pick one. All other cards go to the bottom of the deck in any order.

For crafting, during your main phase, you trade in ore plus the prior armor (helmet or shield) to upgrade.

Ore can be scraped/discarded for health, cards, or CPs.

Forge Master has no upgrade cards and about 40-50% of the cards are ore. Only one ultimatium. Lots of gold, less diamonds. You end up thinning your deck as you use the normal cards and will go through your deck multiple times to mine and upgrade.

Once you are fully armored, rolling a six on defense allows you to double the effect of two armors. So prevents 4 damage and does damage 6 back. A beast.

I'd like to get into DT, but I find the different product lines super confusing, could you clear up a few details?

The experience that my group will like the most is DTA (we prefer co-op, and we're often 3 players), but even the publisher recommends knowing the base game first, so that's what we'll do: purchase 1 or 2 characters each, and get to know the game in standard 1v1 sessions first.

  1. A lot of S1/S2 boxes are currently out of stock at all my local FLGS, with upcoming Hero Packs announced on their website instead. At first I thought the Hero Packs were for new characters, but I saw an upcoming Hero Pack for the S1 characters too. Will the standard 2-character boxes go out of print and be replaced by that new product line?

  2. A few characters were "patched", like the Huntress, and I've seen that I can print her updated version on the official website, do we know if the Hero Packs will contain the updated material for these characters?

  3. Generally speaking do you recommend that I get the currently available boxes, or since they're being released in the upcoming weeks I'd better wait for the Hero Packs? ... In any case I assume that I should avoid the S1 boxes that are not the Rerolled version, right?

  4. What's the consensus on the promo packs, if I try to hunt down the DTA promo pack for the minions/loot, is it a good idea, or wasted effort (it's no longer listed in any FLGS, so it's gonna be Marketplace)?

Everyone new has 3/2/1 dices

I don’t like how all the newer characters, i.e. Outcast set, Alchemist, Vanguard set, Mystic Brawler, all have 3/2/1 (AAABBC) symbol dices.

I heard the reason behind this is so the designers can focus more on the abilities or activation. I don’t think different dice symbol combinations would impact that significantly. They can always change how difficult an ability activation through lowering the number of dices required. I feel like there’s multiple way to lower the difficulty if whiffing is the issue.

I just think different dice sets give characters their unique flair.

Q: Getting latest sets in UK?

How does anyone get the latest character packs; e.g. Mystic Brawler in the UK? I know they are advertised on the Amazon US site, so that could be an option, but it doesn't include the accessory packs.

Any suggestions where can we get the accessory packs from? I'm still trying to get the Alchemist's pack. They are not listed on the official site and when I tried ordering that from Amazon US, it got cancelled due to unavailability.

Received replacements AGAIN

When the notification came to get replacements for the Dicethrone Marvel Mission Kickstarter tokens i filled in one form, i got those replacements fast.

Now almost half a year later i randomly got a notification from my postal office. To my surprise it was another bag of replacement tokens. LOL

I surely would have enough now. Hope I dont get them mixed up and get duplicates ingame.

Knockdown against minions

Do minions remove the token if they have 2 or more CP or do they not remove CP and just outright lose a turn? I’m seeing conflicting responses online.

Is it possible to actually get good ?

Hello ! We play regularly with a friend and he has a 75% win rate over me on 20+ games.

When we play, I think I am less good than him, for example at understanding what is best at what timings. But also, we both come to the conclusion that I am very unlucky.

For example, when he played Gunslinger, he tanked 40+ damages using his defense (I had no card to skew the dice). When I played it, I never rolled a positive defense, only avoided once.

I get also very unlucky on the cards I draw, having all alterations removal cards when playing against Treant, almost never seeing the color of the drawing cards.

And of course, the dice, when I have 2-3-4 be sure I will not have even the little after the 2 rolls.

So, I came to wonder, is it a luck or a skill issue ?
Is it worth trying to get good, or at the end it doesn’t matter ?

Because I can see I am getting better at decision making, but I do not see any effect on the field.

Official Dice Throne Shop Europe

So, while everybody is playing / receiving KS Vanguard, i’m one of the guys that joined the party to late. I started playing 2 months ago and Outcast was difficult to buy already where i live (Netherlands), also Alchemist was difficult to find. So i ordered both with a good expierence on the official Dice Throne website. I selected the Netherlands under more and i had no problem with ordering.
But now i saw that the Netherlands was removed under more and a lot European countries aswell (Germany and Belgium for example). Does that mean that i can’t order Dice Throne products anymore from the official site? Does somebody know why they removed it? Love to hear from you TYIA
