Dice throne adventures scenarios noob question

Lately I’ve been getting into dice throne, playing 1v1 with the wife and a few friends.

I recently got dice throne adventures and watched a few tutorials on playing. My first play through I got beat badly but killed it the second time around.

I know I did a lot of the rules wrong, but one thing i didn’t understand was when the boss battle occurred.

I finished the portal crawl, defeated the lvl 4 minion, and then I broke out the fallen barbarian and beat him.

I’m wondering if that is the proper flow, and then next time I break it out, do I still pick from the green scenario cards to build my dungeon, or do I move on to the next level up?

Love this game to death and the community so thanks in advance for the help.

Dice Throne: Starter Set - What sort of components?

I see that there is a new starter set that is scheduled to be released in the next 2 months, It contains the Barbarian, Moon Elf, Pyromancer, and Shadow Thief. I can't find any additional info on it though. Does anyone know if it will contain colored vacuum trays, similar the single hero packs? How about swirl dice? Looking at the shape of the box, it looks like it will have folding boards at least. Have they confirmed if there will be additional starter sets with the rest of Season 1 or is this just a one time thing?

Clarification

Would not this time block 6 damage (5 undef and one collateral?)
Or would it block just the 5 undef and collateral wouldnt be block?

What character(s) should I get next? I'm looking to start doing OP soon, mostly just to get more games in other than with my wife! I really love Alchemist, Headless Horseman, and Necromancer so far.

Has anyone beat Naraxus with Storm?

Trying to beat him with all the characters I have solo, so far succeeded with Arrificer, Psylocke, and Paladin I've been at it for days with Storm and it seems impossible. Which other characters have as hard a time as her vs him?

Just got into this game and loving it. Check out my 5 year olds temporary storage solution.

If you have an old lunch box laying around, they are perfect for holding 7-8 heroes. My 5 year old came up with this awesome solution. He is slowly learning the game and we absolutely love playing it

Most people probably have more heroes than us, but for now, this works perfectly if you have a smaller amount that you want to bring to your function.
