Making an Indominus Rex Deck

Making an Indominus Rex Deck

Hey everyone, I recently found a copy of the [[Indominus Rex, Alpha]] at my LGS and decided to try my hand at making a deck for it. I got a bunch of cards from bulk there and at another LGS in town as well. I really struggled cutting this down to 100 cards so I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for swaps? I added pretty much every card I have that I thought could possibly fit onto the Maybeboard so any help is appreciated. There's a few cards I know aren't ideal, [[Grim Giganotosaurus]] and [[The Coming of Galactus]] come to mind, but I tried including some of the cool cards that I pulled from packs recently or that I didn't have a home for anywhere else.

Me and my friends really only play Bracket 2 with maybe an occasional gamechanger so the deck doesn't have to be insanely optimized or anything

Gishath Brew Feedback

I'm looking for some feedback on my [Gishath brew](https://moxfield.com/decks/SddsA8\_fw0q\_oXEMRMnf3g). I posted a few months back and got some great feedback and made some substitutions, it's definitely coming together nicely and getting more consistent. But that's mostly from goldfishing, I don't get to play much so any input is appreciated. Aiming for a strong bracket 3 deck. I'd like to add a [[Devil Dinosaur]] next once the price drops. Any glaring issues I'm missing? Any drop or add ideas are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Can you help with refinement/swaps in my latest Pantlaza iteration?

I’ve been refining and making this a little more rampy and forceful.

I have a slew of cards in my sideboard for swapping but I’m not sure what to replace. My goal is to increase synergy and lethality. Below is the list and I’d want to prioritize Ravenous tyrannosaurus, finale of devastation, and hulking raptor

[[Quartzwood Crasher]]
[[Legion's Initiative]]
[[Semester's End]]
[[Bronzebeak Foragers]]
[[Another Round]]
[[Selvala's Stampede]]
[[Ravenous Tyrannosaurus]]
[[Finale of Devastation]]
[[Hulking Raptor]]

As always interested in any rationale/discussion for the suggestion. It always helps me learn more about deck crafting and such.

Need help with Deck Editing

Hello fellow dino fans, I've played dinosaurs for a while but have recently gotten more serious about deck building, I currently have a maybeboard of about 52 cards and am looking for suggestion on what cards I should remove from my deck and replace with either the maybeboard cards or y'all's suggestions.

Side note: Raptor companion has to stay, he was my first dinosaur card and has become a meme card in my pods

Thank you in advance to anyone who wishes to help

Reinforcements are here, any suggestions on what to add/remove?

Hi all,

Here is my current deck - https://moxfield.com/decks/4RmfASVB_3ONdDYVSfWQFQ

I recently received the cards below from trades and orders - any thoughts on what I should slot in, and what should be removed from my dino deck? Open to any and all suggestions.

  • [[The Great Henge]]
  • [[Flaming Tyrannosaurus]]
  • [[Sneak Attack]]
  • [[Shadow in the Warp]]
  • [[Herd Heirloom]]
  • [[Delighted Halfling]]
  • [[Archdruid's Charm]]
  • [[Growing Rites of Itlimoc]]
  • [[Trouble in Pairs]]
  • [[Eladamri's Call]]
  • [[Eldritch Evolution]]
  • [[Tooth and Nail]]

Thoughts on removal - Thinking about removing [[Monstrous Vortex]], [[Defense of the Heart]], maybe either [[Stump Stomp]] or [[Bridgeworks Battle]].

as for creatures maybe [[Otepec Huntmaster]], [[Runic Armasaur]], [[Disciple of Freyalise]], [[Sakura-Tribe Elder]].

I'm a fan off [[Dinosaurs on a Spaceship]] and [[Swooping Pteranodon]]..but maybe they could be cut as well.

Thank you!

Dino deckcheck, input please

So, I started collecting very recently and I have a large amount of dinosaur cards that I think make the basis for what could be a nice deck. Problem is, this is the first mtg deck I have tried to make and I don't want to just copy a precon or someone else's deck list. I am totally fine buying more cards or switching who the commander is. What I have so far is just anything I thought might work together, I did include some extra options in the list. I am open to ALL the criticism! Would like to bump this to bracket 3 at least as my more experienced friends can be a little competitive.

I hope the link works. Thanks!

Almost there (I hope)

I got my Gishath deck up and running again. Haven't done any testing with it, but I think what I have is pretty good.

I need to get my hands on a [[Devil Dinosaur]] to replace the [[Thundering Spineback]] and it should be ok for now.

What do ya'll think? Any changes ya'll would make?

Looking for cards to cut!

Or swap...or add....everything looks cool, I wanna play it all.

I have never played a dino deck, but I'm looking for it to be a stronger bracket 3. Still building, haven't started sourcing yet. Keeping to a moderate budget so nothing over 10 dollars besides Invasion of Ikoria and the Etali my GF made a proxy of for me.

Thoughts on my custom commander for a deck that is basically all dreadmaws? (Made for fun)

I made this card because i own 200 dreadmaw cards and thought it would be funny if i could place the whole stack on the Battlefield at once

From the Jurassic park tcg that I believe is still only available in Korea, but also my favorite film.

Can Gleaming Splendor be a staple in dinosaur decks?

Do you consider [[Gleaming Splendor]] a good way to accelerate mana and draw cards for dinosaurs? If you play it on turn 2, at best it could allow you to play Pantlaza on turn 3, and at worst, it could be a good tool for drawing cards through political maneuvering. I think it would be a good support for our tribe.
