Btw new player! Got some other precons also! Ngl I was in physical pain trying to decide between the new Lathliss, Ghalta, and Gisa decks, but since Ghalta was the only one available out of the three naturally I got her! Big dino fan growing up, hell Ghalta reminds me of the Giga from Dinosaur Train if some of y'all wanna get an idea of what I grew up with lmao
I plan on messing around with her before making any proper changes first, but if I somehow get my hands on the Hexhaven Invigorator I'm definitely adding that guy lmao
So I got the new GHALTA cards and I wanted to test out a deck with the white version. I was hoping to make it more dino based but it ended up being largely wall based. Gotta test play it. Not expecting much. It's not going to compete with my Pantlaza deck or anything.
Anyone else build this dino into a deck yet for fun?
I recently saw a fellow artist doing this on their bulk foils, and I had to do some of my own! I have too much bulk lying around and my shelves are full. And of course, i designed them with a dino theme 🦖🦕

I’m keeping my Fancy Pantz deck at bracket 3 and run [[wooded foothills]] and [[windswept heath]] etc. My question is do any of yall run all the off color fetches?
We have 10 swaps with a budget of 10 dollars. I’m taking out the 3 thriving lands for Gathering Place, Rootbound Crag and Sheltering Landscape. More ramp with Entish Restoration, Skyshroud Claim and Hulking Raptor. Board wipe prevention with Luminous. Cream of the crop for fixing my discover. Blink with Cloudshift and Airbending.
Would love some input.
Got a resin Printer recently and wanted a cooler way to show egg-tokens for my Atla Palani, Nest Tender deck. The Eggs are removable to show 1-3 Eggs, everything beyond that like additional tokens or power/toughness I can do with the dice.Sculpted with Nomad sculpt, printed on my Saturn 4 Ultra 16k. Painted with mini-Paints, added grass and a clearcoat, so it is pretty durable.
Dimensions are approx. 45x65mm so it fits in a drawer of my deckbox

Don't worry about the manabase for now that I will fix last. Right now the deck feels a bit too much like "fair" magic. Do you have any recommendations how to make it more "unfair". One card I was thinking of is [[Defense of The Heart]] but any recommendations or feedback is welcome.
Saw someone having these 2 cards in a deck. I know Roaming Throne and Sun’s Creator won’t work with Pantlaza but could work with Raging Carnosaur. Why the heck would anyone run these cards with Pantlaza if it’s strictly once per turn?

Let me know what y'all think .. I'm trying to figure out like bracket level, and power level as well as consistency and all that .I'm still pretty new to MTG and honestly don't know of any of that matters . Some bracket checkers say barely a 3 , I had others say 4 ... but anyway .. what y'all think?

My fellow Etali fans. I was talking to some friends about how I hope we get more printings of my favorite dino. But all of my pod were saying that Etali would never get another printing because he died canonically. And I think that really sucks.
Etali was the card that made me want to play magic. He was the first card I ever bought and I have really come to like him. From the story I got to read about his backstory it seems that he truly was the apex over most if not all the dinosaurs on Ixalan. And I would argue that was accurate since it took all of them combined to take him down when he was completed.
What kills me is that for some characters in mtg, death just doesn't mean crap. Since characters like vraska, Nissa, and all of the other planeswalkers who were completed and or killed just get a lore loophole and are suddenly all fine now in reality fracture. Or are just brought back in general. I think it is really sad that we may never get Etali back.
It seems like we get another ghalta card all the time. I like ghalta and all, but they seem like a one trick pony that simply gives trample or something along those lines. Etali was a sick card. If you even mentioned you were playing it then you'll get a look from your pod. Etali is really something special in my mind. But I dont know. Maybe it's just me.
So what do all of you think? Would you like more etali themed cards? If he ever comes back what do you think his colors should be? Should he be a zombie dino or just himself? What new mechanics would you feel could fit the alphas card upon his return?
