The new character is announced soon so it's your last chance to place your bets on what it's going to be like!

I'm personally hoping for Bartz so here's what I'd like to see:

First off, his usual Dissidia appearance seems a given but I hope the casual wear is going to be based on his blue tunic sprite with unkempt hair and loose athleisure, ready to go skating or biking to mimic his love for chocobo (maybe a british/Jockey inspired wear?)

Now his theme is pretty much Four Hearts and the Lix theme for sure!

He also comes with a stage, there's castle tycoon but it seems more like something Lenna would get, the ship graveyard is more of a Faris one. Lix would be boring tbh, forked tower is very niche, a void eaten world would work but screams more exdeath. The big bridge could since it's extremely iconic but it could be attributed to Galuf or Gilgamesh. It's hard to guess this one tbh

As for his playstyle, melee seems like a safe guess, as is his element of wind.

I know he's usually displayed as mimic/freelancer with various other job skills on top although if we go with Krile as blueprint, he might either be a blue mage, mimic or a mix of a variety of jobs commonly associated to him.

Although a mimic style would be fun like being able to set up URs from other characters, I feel like it'd be way too much work to update Bartz every time too (unless the effect just plays as Bartz does a generic animation)

The other concept could include the Brave Blade and Chicken Knife but I'm not sure how that could translate to this game honestly

Here's what I could come up with:

Passive: Skills get a 10/20/30% boost every time they are used, up to 3 times

CA: short dash forward, leaving chocobo feathers as animation (a nod to his Boko and Wind attribute)

R - Bladeblitz - quickly attacks nearby targets (extended range with mastery, affected by spellblade)

SR - Rapid Fire - quick mid long ranged hits (raises hit count every usage up to 3 times at mastery, affected by spellblade)

UR1 - Sword Dance - deals severe damage to the target (gains life stealing and confusion (jumbled controlls or using skills at random) at level 2 and 3 respectively, affected by spellblade)

UR2 - Call of the Wind - raises his movement + attack speed and adds an additional wind/flare/holy spell blade follow effect to his attacks and abilities (stronger effects each level up to 3)

This would cover Gladiator, Hunter, Dancer and Spellblade for Bartz although I'm a big fan of Blue Mage for him, something like Time Slip, the old status effect reducing the level of the rival would be also a fantastic addition to his kit - ultimately trading a bit of raw power for quirky and unique effects to them, taken from existing characters

Can't wait to see how he'll shake up the game!

The current ten day banner lets you trade 980 gold for 30k (60k with a season pass) eggs.

Is that worth it? Is leveling up the UR Egg Skill to +9 as a support skill worth it? What are people thinking about on this one

I've needed terras trance to have all of her abilities. I took a chance and drew on her banner hoping to get trance and I did. But it was for Zidane T_T

Worth pulling on Celes banner as a Rikku Main who plays on premade teams?

My typical ability set up is

Quartet of Bravery - to boost bravery of allies

Mega vitality - heal and shield.

Ramza Cheer Up - to give away my brave if someone is about to kill me.

Minwu Teleport - to teleport to a far away crystal or get away if someone will kill me.

Y'shtola Blizzard IV to clear crystals fast.

We do the friend Ramza Cheer Up Rikku and then Quartet of Bravery to all blitz the boss when it spawns. We pretty casual and typically play a few rounds after playing Final Fantasy 14.

I was thinking maybe I want the UR Heal from the Celes banner but I don't typically run a second heal right now. Maybe things will change.

Celes herself seems a bit underwhelming and not worth running over Rikku maybe if the Runic was better like in Final Fantasy 6 Runic negates the next special attack that would hit Celes and she takes no damage and if that was converted to Brave that would be actually awesome but the current implementation doesn't seem great.

When not playing Rikku, I play Rinoa (Selphie Wall, Angel Wings, Meteor, Yshtola Blizzard IV, Tifa Falling Crane) or Gaia (Diamond Destroyer, Fated Moment, Selphie Wall, Ramza Cheer up, Tifa Falling Crane).

My favorite Final Fantasy character ever is Yuna but they haven't announced Yuna.

What's the best rank to aim for? As high as I can consistently clear? Do each crystal give an equal amount of XP to pass points per minute of crystal?

So if you blocked someone for their behavior in game - it doesn't change the fact that they will continue to do so, not just on enemy team, also on your team; over and over again-continuing their reign of terror, ruining your experience and there is no escaping them apparently. Maybe its due too low player rate, but damn just give me no match instead of putting a toxic idiot on my team i specifically blocked only too put them right back in my game after, also the reporting system in this game feels non existent.
